<dt>Advice for the beginner in photography: </dt><dd>Don't be afraid to experiement, and don't get "locked" into a particular "style" early on, instead actively seek challenges, try something every month! also be sure to study images, there are plenty of decent Photo sites that will help you understand the techniques, but to truely understand what makes a true image really stand out, you must love to see photos, and figure out what makes them special to you. </dd>
