I made this for online users who'd like to send friend requests. Keeping offline profile professional, because you've probably heard stories about how colleges and companies look at Facebook pages to check for seriously bad loser flag trips.
I'm a Christian who dedicated his life to trying to live an obedient, faithful commitment to Jesus Christ I believe that the Bible is the true Word of God, and I hold to what I believe as doctrinal essentials to my faith, however, I recently have backed away from seriously pursuing theology because I think my church makes it the clearest: Jesus Christ is what matters the most.
And yet, we see him so little.
And if we do see him, it's usually not the Jesus of the Bible.
I want to shine, to be a light in this pitch-black cave, and to help share that light with others. I'm struggling with a lot of things day to day, but I have the innate hope that God is timeless, loving and personal, sovereign, good and almighty. That he's always there for me. And my faith that I am saved not by myself or what I do but through Jesus's sinless life offered up on the cross and subsequent resurrection three days later fuels my heart.
Jesus matters the most...
Loving God first, Loving others second, I am last of all.
That's how it should be, although I fail at it, I have faith in Jesus.
My emotions ride like roller-coaster, so I have ups and downs throughout each day...but too, each day is a blessed new day, with decisions galore to glorify God within. I wrestle with some sinful habits and because I am only recently recovering from low self-esteem...well, I tend to blame myself before anyone else. I'm nowhere near "holier-than-thou", and I apologize if I ever come off that way--I'm probably too caught up trying to do the right thing to realize it.
But I want humility, not self-hatred.
I want confidence, not arrogance.
I want Jesus to be Lord of my life, not idols.
...Trying to convey what moves me to worship and praise Jesus's name to my friends, though...shy and intimated as I get...frustrated by overthinking and devil's advocate-ing myself as can be...I struggle with it. With loving others, with loving myself, and even with loving God. It's silly, right? To want to rely on others, but when it comes right down to it you still can't always seem to rely on God who you believe in your mind to be sufficient?
Real Christianity is about a person.
If you're missing out on that person,
On the life-changing relationship you have with him,
You're missing out on the point completely.
I ramble, too, did you catch that?
But, go ahead and message me...I don't think I bite.
(And if I do, it'd probably just be me gnawing on myself! XD)

...*sigh*. I used to have that kind of a passion. Lately, now, I struggle with a lot of different things. I have never left my faith nor do I expect to. But I have realized more and more about life as I've been living through it. God has never faltered, only became further worthy of my praise. However...it is on my side and the failure of my goodness and love and patience and wisdom that has caused me so much strife. Yet I remain in my faith, however, I will not try to preach at you, rest assured. I'll try to be a good friend. I care very deeply about the friends I have and have had in the past, even though I know how heavily my past now-severed friendships and relationships affect me in the present. But I'll always try to move on, even in rough times. Romans 8:28 forever gives me the light to retain my Christian mantra: "Faith, Love, Hope". I hope to bless others and to be an instrument of God's love, and I wish that when I fail to do so others would not attribute my failures to God but rightfully to my own fallibility. I do not make promises, because I am not perfect. What I do promise is, flawed as I am thanks to the fallen state of this world, to try my best. Bless you if you actually read this far, you're now reading things that come from deep in my heart.
