Prior to the beginning of the spar, both fighters (Law "Silas" and Killuminati "Heijin[X]") consented to allowing three initial judges. Upon this agreement, there were to be one judge per fighter and an unbiased judge. I (Percival) was the judge who stepped forward for Law. Ran vouched for Killuminati and the unbiased judge, Aestroth, never showed up. It was agreed by the majority that the judges word would be final. An argument occurred around the third and fourth posts concerning some movements and misunderstanding on both of the combatants parts.

Here is the fight thus far:

Post One - Killuminati:

The bloodflow of the legendary warrior came to a suprising halt, having made eye contact with the offender in front of him. Opaque, hazel orbs scanned the vicinity, a stage erected for this type of deathmatch. A simple grin came across the face of the man, as he stepped down his left foot against the concrete. He proceeed to chuckle slightly, as he fixated his gaze on the opponent before him. This young upstart wanted to try and fight against someone of Heijin's stature. "Hey boy. Don't you remember when I made a fool out of you without even trying? Why try again.." He uttered, his right hand shooting behind his back, whilst his left hand grasped the hilt of the infamous blade, Keikan. "Show true ferocity, scatter to the winds, bring down justice from the sky, and bring it to hell again.." he uttered out, as the blade began to glow with an azure light, the hue reflecting onto the skin pigmentation of the one known as Heijin Daijoudan. This was no misinterpretation. It was time to finally reveal the true power, and true form, of his favorite blade. "It wasn't my intention to show this to anyone, especially nobody as lowly as you..however..you need to be taught a lesson." His face became stern once again, hardened with the anger he was wishing to express. The blade broke down, and mulitplied, several times, as the scroll in the right hand of Heijin began to open from being sliced by a falling blade behind him, his energy pouring out of the hand to begin summmoning what was to come from the scroll in the first place. Silvery wisps of hair fell across his face and over his eyes, as if to mask his intentions. The eyes were, afterall, the gateway to the soul, and one shouldn't need to show any tells to the next move plotted. Energy fluxuated from his palm and into the scroll itself, seeming to give it life. However, a bit more time was needed. The blade itself began to release a sort of mist from the hilt, where the blade had once been before dissolving. A miasma of sorts, as if it had a life of its own. The hilt itself began to disolve under the pressure the power of the blade itself was putting on it. Broken down to a molecular level, it became one with the oxygen molecules, and expanded greatly throughout the area. The mist enveloped the form of Heijin Daijoudan, and wrapped around the arena, the majority of it taking shape behind him, in the form of a dark quadruped. "Now then, shall we get started, boy?" He looked at the foe with extreme animosity, as the power from his palms continued to flux into the scroll itself, which was now aglow with an azure tint of light, making the entire area that Heijin now held under submission seem surreal; dreamlike. It was time to truly, end this little charade.

Post Two - Law:

Economy of Breaths—i. The chronological order that his foe had taken overlapped with his own course of actions. They stood only five meters apart, and his opposition had already begun a slur of words. The young man had learned to pay no mind to the tone taken by countless others of the years. As steadfast as the monk in him had held to his edicts and dogmas, presumptions and prejudices were cast without a thought. Upon standing there, he stood just shy of six feet and was consumed in astral luminescence. There within his cluthces was his source of sanity and legacy, Revjaille. When the so called legend began speaking, Silas had already taken into account the syllables and the time it took to speak the average word, and that was easily factored into his next move. An interruption of his opposition's arrogance was at hand. "Show true ferocity, scatter to the winds, bring down—" That was the very trigger that caused the imminent explosion of velocity into his direction. With there being only five meters seperating them, the astral pressure within his body exploded and the blade within his cluthes swept across his visage with a single stroke. The very edge of the preternatural edge carved through the neck of the ignorant forefather seeking to scold a more actively vigorous child. Before his words could finish, the edge had severed his neck and exploded with astral energy that consumed everything within ten meters in a single flash. Everything within was decimated by the corrosive unstable energies expanding outward to consume the entire field in a mighty explosion. Yet Silas, impervious to the effects to his own plied astral, gave a smile.

Post Three - Killuminati:

"Tch.." that was about alll the time he had to think about before the opponent erupted from him. Being a user of high-speeds himself, he had trained his eyes to catch the slightest form of movements. How rude of the foe to interrupt during his incantation, however, this was merely a formality; it was for show, not really needed. Knowing that this youngster had been surely coached to attack before the summoning of the weaponries was complete, he had kept an ace up his sleeve. The energy he had placed into the scroll erupted in an instant, granting him the temporary new speed skill : Kensoku. Literally 'sword-speed', his body naturally reacted to the surprise blade brought towards his neck, increasing his natural level of speed to exactly 10 mph faster than the travelling of the blade which was coming for his life; his body becoming a temporary repellant from his blade. A last-resort technique, only being able to use this twice during a match, at the very most, due to the exhaustion that would follow promptly after the use of the second one. The body of Heijin moved towards the side in the same sweeping motion of the blade, as his legs' sinews coiled up, and released, promptly leaping into the air as the miasma swirled from his blade with intense ferocity, the scroll in his right palm still promptly glistening from the hue of energy which had been poured into it, spilledover from the amount used by the donning of Kensoku. A grin formed on the face of the other as he seemed to saunter along in the wind above, the miasma swirling around his form once more as he thrusted the scroll in front of his own form, releasing 10 of the lesser swords to come down from above the opponent, hoping to impale his foe or the arena below him, it didn't matter much at this point. More energy continued to pour into the scroll from his right hand, as the miasma of energy fluxuated into the form of a Dark Quadruped. A wolf crushed the earth beneath it, snarling with fangs that protruded from the top lip of the creature. 10 tails sprouted from the back of its hindquarters, keeping its face low, towering over the two fighters, as Daijoudan landed atop of its head, now fully formed and poised to attack. He shook his head with disdain. "Not very conventional I'll admit.."

Post Four - Law:

Economy of Breaths—ii. There was a twist of fate in Heijin's overall timeline. While initially within his mind everytime he committed to an action initially he believed he would be capable of completing it, Silas assured that such was not possible. While ether swirled among his beautifully majestic body, the astral limelight died and there were two things his foe had not considered. Everything within the vicinity had erupted, the blade had released astral energy that consumed everything within five meters. And because his foe had only jumped to his side, he would be caught in the crossfire of the soul's furnance. Alongside that action, his foe had curled his body, and in the moments that his body had coiled—the Serenity Knight—had already come to his own course of actions that were initiated. The mind was truly spectacular, and his actions were precise with celerity. The slash from the right arm had been avoided, and the foe had coiled and sprung to his own left. The arm he had shot outward, and aimed to clothesline him, and effectively capture him in a blow to the neck that would bring his body downward into the ground. In that same action, his foe would suffer a broken neck and severely fractured spine from the impact of his back against the rough flooring beneath them. All while the constant dome of corrosive astral energy faded, dealing their normal effects upon everything within Silas' range prior accordingly before their dissolve.

-------------------

Before I move on to the actual problem and my conclusion, I would like to point out a few things. For one, the combatant Killuminati has shown rather poor sportsmanship in and out of the spar. Secondly, he has shown extreme arrogance and then he assumed that Law has been assisted (coached (post three)) by others. Even though this can be justified ICly as Killuminati's characters general attitude, I find this rude.

I would like to question the clarity and use of some techniques and words. In post two, Law described the usage of "Astral". From my understanding, as defined by Law, Astral energy is the energy of existence. FP, as used to describe the style/type of this fight, simply means Full Powers. That being said, there were no restraints or holds to limit the power of each combatants attacks.

Killuminati's usage of "sinews" was incorrect. He defined it as muscle. Sinew, by definition (noun) is "A piece of tough fibrous tissue uniting muscle to bone or bone to bone; a tendon or ligament." That being said, it would be safe to assume that if he indeed coiled the sinew of his limbs, his limbs would possible be seriously injured, if not rendered useless.

One technique that really caught my interest was "Kensoku", which was defined by Killuminati as "sword speed", which, in post three, he stated that his "natural speed" increased by 10 MPH faster than Law's blade. He then proceeded to slightly change the definition in an OOC commnet towards Law by saying that what "Kensoku" did was push his body away from the outside of Law's blade. I can understand the basic mechanics of this technique, however I believe that it has a rather powerful effect and I think that it cannot be done so quickly, given the speed of which Law attacked. His attack was one that interupted Killuminati's speech in his stance due to the fact that Killuminati assumed he was able to see Law, who he also assumed was somewhere in front of him.

Assuming that Killuminati's technique did succeed, his argument is that he was able to get out of Law's range before Law had a change to launch another attack. Law's argument is that, because of the nature of "Kensoku", the ambiguity of his post, that being that he never clearly stated whether or not his sword slash kept going or if it stopped, since it would be determined depending on Killuminati's next post (if it connected, the blade would obviously stop and if it missed, it would be safe to assume that the blade continued moving.), would be sufficient enough to say that "Kensoku" never had a chance to go into effect.

Since Killuminati used "Kensoku" to evade the initial slash, he again jumped to an assumption that the blade continued to move, even if he dodged. However, since Law never stated that his slash would go straight through no matter the situation, Killuminati's usage of "Kensoku" should be rendered impossible, due to the very way he defined the technique.

Directly after utilizing "Kensoku", Killuminati began to talk, assuming, again, that he was safe for the moment, in which Law went instantly into another assault. I believe that, if you follow a logical timeline, Killuminati not only would have time to speak or get into a saftey zone, that Law's attack would have connected. However, there is still a debate as to whether or not "Kensoku" would be plausible.

I believe that it would not be able to be used, based solely on how it was defined. The ambiguity of Law's post therefore renders the usage of this technique useless.

Following the obvious logic, I would like to put forth my vote that Law be declared the victor of this fight due to some timeline and factual errors on Killuminati's part. For future reference, I would also like to suggest to both writers a couple tips.

For one, Law: You have excellent writing and very good tactics, that of which have been appreciated by the opponent, Killuminati, but you should focus on the clarity of your attacks a bit more. Secondly, Killuminati: Even though you have great potential still, I would suggest you focus more so on the clarity and flow of your writing.

This is my judgement and my assessment of the fight.

Victor: Law

Reasoning: Factual and timeline mishaps on Killuminati's part, his own description of his "Kensoku" technique and Law's ambiguity.

Following the agreement prior to the fight, the judges word was final. This is my vote.
