In response to letting down my team and customers at 5609, as well as misconduct that has led to reprimands from my management team I have been given the fortune to lay out an action plan for improvement. I have many reasons to be thankful for this chance to turn my recent conduct around. Including but not limited to my new family (4 months away), my home, my car, and my livelihood in general. It would be immature and wrong of me to let these obligations down. My team, my loyal customers, and the friendships I have developed with them in the 3 great years I have worked here are pillars for improvement certainly.\line\line To begin, I would like to revert to our core values. Customers are our sole purpose and the reason we all have our jobs. But to me they go beyond that. They have grown to be cherished friends and even light up my day. It is imperative they are treated with prompt, friendly, above and beyond service that they deserve. I will not forget that and make this my driving factor in my action plan. Then as I have noted above, I have been with Circle K for a good amount of time and should show the initiative and example that is expected of me at all times. As for ethics I cannot agree more that integrity, decency and professionalism must be a key factor in every employee. These ethics spider web to everything from teamwork, customers, to a clean and outstanding store and much more. Once more all of these will be a large part of my action plan.\par
My action plan will be comprised of these factors as well as a redress to tardiness. Punctuality will be reviewed and efficiently organized. Simple things like going to bed and leaving earlier could be completely life changing in this regard. Also life changes, to think to yourself "I should not go out tonight, I have work tomorrow" would be instrumental. So many things, whether it be work related or not, the "think before you act" factor is handy in life. Overall simply being to work on time will be a great start in proving myself to improvement.\par
In conclusion, I am truly thankful for this opportunity I have been given by the performance coaching initiative. My actions will speak louder than words and I wont let anyone here down. I'm going to make the necessary changes to bring about deeper commitment and aptitude to myself and my team.\par
