Alright, the first thing to note is the main rotor blade of the helicopter is essentially a "Disk" when rotating.

In this brief tutorial I will refer to the main rotor blade as the "disk".
Ok, the first thing I will explain is the collective:
The Collective is located to the left of the pilots seat,
Pulling the collective up increases the pitch angle of the main rotor blades, causing the disk,
and the helicopter to rise. as the Collective is raised, and less when the Collective is lowered.
Next is the cyclic control stick, this is located right between the pilots legs and raises vertically up through the cockpit floor.
The "Disk" corresponds directly with the Cyclic control stick, moving the stick in any direction causes the Disk to move in the same direction as the Stick.
The force that rotates the main rotor system clockwise also tries to rotate the fuselage under it in the opposite direction.
This effect is known as torque. The way it is controlled is with the antitorque rotor, the tail rotor located at the end of the tail boom.
The floor pedals control this tail rotor, Pushing the left pedal increases the tail rotor pitch, which pushes the tail to the right, and vice-versa.
Because this left-and-right turning requires more and less power, you will have to adjust the throttle accordingly to maintain the proper engine and rotor rpm.
