I am testing that you have the tools required to build the
GNU Image Manipulation Program from CVS. This test is not foolproof,
so if anything goes wrong, see the file HACKING for more information...
checking for libtool >= 1.4 ... yes (version 1.5.22)
checking for gtkdocize ...
You must have gtk-doc installed to compile GNU Image Manipulation Program.
Install the appropriate package for your distribution,
or get the source tarball at
http://ftp.gnome.org/pub/GNOME/sources/gtk-doc/
You can also use the option --disable-gtk-doc to skip
this test but then you will not be able to generate a
configure script that can build the API documentation.
checking for autoconf >= 2.54 ... yes (version 2.59)
checking for automake >= 1.8.3 ...
You must have automake 1.8.3 or newer installed to compile GNU Image Manipulation Program.
Download the appropriate package for your distribution,
or get the source tarball at ftp://ftp.gnu.org/pub/gnu/automake/
./autogen.sh: line 180: automake-1.9: command not found
Major version might be too new (1.8.3)
checking for glib-gettextize ... yes (version 2.10.3)
checking for intltool >= 0.31 ... yes (version 0.35.0)
checking for xsltproc ...
You must have xsltproc installed to compile GNU Image Manipulation Program.
Get the latest version from
ftp://ftp.gnome.org/pub/GNOME/sources/libxslt/
Please install/upgrade the missing tools and call me again.
