Timeline:T-106: Born in outskirts of Ralas to Melaios and Donnal of the Gravelfoot clan, a low-class family among a community slightly separated from most of Ralas, socially and economically.T-90: Begin education as a cleric of Cuthbert, patron deity of many Gravelfoots.T-83: Dwarven death clans start becoming common in Ralas.T-79: Got fed up with ridiculousness in Ralas, left for Sigil in search of more practical matters. Found a job escorting trade expeditions to the Great Dismal Delve, and elsewhere. Begin taking crusader levels.T-66: Encountered the Order of the Sanctified Mind while on an interplanar expedition to the City of Brass: a neighbourhood-wide fight between devils, aided by other outsiders, and cityfolk, with Sanctified Minds standing out in the front lines of combat (~1000 people).T-62: After a few years of training, became ordained as a Sanctified Mind. The Order of the Sanctified Mind, based in Union, believes that people should be cautious of overusing magic. A being's mind must remain pure and untainted, regardless of the amount of magic they exercise in pursuing their goals. Over the years, Lesanchus grows to become one of the most well-respected, and sometimes feared, hands of the Order.T-39: The presence of aberrations in the material plane and inner planes becomes more widespread. Sanctified Mind efforts prove insufficient at preventing their influence, so St. Cuthbert ordains ~200 of the more elite warriors among the Order as Iron Knight Enforcers. The head Enforcer, one Armand Griswold, wields Cuthbert's Reckoning, an artifact crafted by St. Cuthbert to combat chaotic influences. It is said that Cuthbert's Reckoning will choose a wielder, and while Armand wields the waraxe well, it seems nothing spectacular.T-32: A band of demons and chaos beasts sack and siege one of the market districts of union, and carry several prisoners back to the Abyss. The Iron Knight Enforcers organize a crusade, free many of the prisoners, lose several members and the Reckoning, but gain more quest leads.T-31: After much planning, the crusade sets out again. Travelling among the Abyss and several other planes, many Enforcers are lost (~40), and many demonic plans are undone and much of existence in the lower planes is laid straight.T-28: Most of the Order's elite warriors have been slain by now, and those who have not find themselves imprisoned in the third layer of Carceri (~25).T-10: Escape from Carceri is underway. In the middle stages, Lesanchus manages to locate where the Reckoning was imprisoned. It is immediately obvious when he picks it up that the artifact has chosen him to be its wielder.T-4: After many years of planning, bargaining, and manipulation - but never underhanded - those few remaining Enforcers (8) find themselves atop the tallest foothills of Mount Orthrys, overlooking the Bastion of last hope, with bodies of demons, devils, and miscellaneous petitioners strewn about the battlefield, as a shining portal opens in the sky to take the survivors individually to the destination that suits them best. Lesanchus finds himself in Mechanus.T-3: A year in Mechanus taught Lesanchus of the beauties and perfections that can be attained through a combination of following law and figuring out for oneself what the best law would be, as opposed to blindly following orders. He returns to Union and reunites with the other Sanctified Minds to find himself the second most powerful member remaining (Armand survived).T-0: As the wielder of Cuthbert's Reckoning, Lesanchus is sent to the material plane to set things straight.
