If my code would be (with the parse errors):
1: <?php
2: echo "foo"
3: bar();
4:
5: echo "foo"
6: bar();
7: ?>

And this is what I inteded to do:
1: <?php
2: echo "foo";
3: bar();
4:
5: echo "foo"
6: . bar();
7: ?>

How do you report the error on line 2 for missing ; in the first example and on line 6 for missing . in the second example ? =)
