5:43 PM me: I had the coolest dream last night
I was a mercenary in a fantasy universe, on the run
i was piloting a tiny airship/submarine above and under the waves
5:44 PM near a series of waterfalls
narrowly evading an enemy ship coming from above me on the falls
then I land
5:45 PM me: and I am walking along this modern-looking area when i encounter a robot/golem/woman holding a gun
I say, Hey! How good a shot are you with that thing?
she says, None better.
5:46 PM she turns away and i say, I could use someone like you on my team. Are you available for mercenary work?
5:47 PM She says, my rates are 40,000 for 25 years
I say no problem
but she walks away again, into a parking structure (presumably for parking airships)
5:48 PM then a bunch of monster-people come out from the shadows and threaten a bunch of people into the area
I nod to the robot-woman and she fires a shot into a spiky-slug-man
5:49 PM who was extruding his spikes in an intimidation display
i punch a three-eyed blue-skinned mutant
than grab a straw from a passerby's 7-11 cup
5:50 PM and stab a monster with it
5:51 PM my dad is there, and he handles the monsters outside the parking structure by coordinating the people out there against the monsters
5:52 PM I woke up after the monsters were defeated and my dad came up to me to tell me the monsters outside were vanquished
AWESOME.
5:53 PM the airships looked like a hybrid of star wars starfighters and FF XII airships
5:54 PM the golem-woman had cogs and wheels in the back of her head by no hair or skin there
just open cogs
the monsters were awesome looking, but closer to star wars than anything else
5:55 PM the woman's gun was a heavy pistol that shot energy blasts
it was a really vivid dream
