I'm running PHP5 with Apache2 and MySQL 4.1
For MySQL 4.1, PHP favours the mysqli_ extension over mysql_
I read that the PHP extension mysql_ supports MySQL up to 4.0. I am unsure if this is forced.
Many php database scripts available today use the mysql_ functions rather than mysqli_
I do not want PHP scripts using mysql_ functions to return errors.
Are mysql_ functions still able to interact with MySQL 4.1 ?
Or do I somehow setup links for mysql_ functions to their mysqli_ counterparts ?
