Eddie demonstrated a good understanding of concepts. He needs to improve his ability to apply known skills in new situations. He also needs to take a little more time when doing tests to read over his answers. His test performance seemed to improve toward the end of the course. Eddie has demonstrated an improvement in his organization skills, as well as creativity in his writing. He continued to struggle with the workload and deadlines required by the nature of an academic course. Completion and submission of assignments are necessary to ensure success at Laurier.

This course has covered the basics of classical guitar playing including note reading and chord playing. The theory portion of the course covered tones and semitones, writing major scales, and key signatures. Eddie did good consistent work over the entire term. Well done. I hope that Eddie continues in music at Laurier.

Eddie performed well on the 3 part Art history essay and the final exam. Eddie's participation in the class was both cooperative and productive. Eddie was a pleasure to have in this class and should consider taking Grade 10 Art.

Good effort to speak only French in class. Eddie achieved a mark of 43% on his ISP: an adaptation of a Guy de Maupassant short story. His story was well written, but the project was incomplete and submitted late. His score on the final exam, however, was 94%. Continue to aim for precision in the language, Eddie. Try to participate more and start assignments promptly.

Eddie made gains in some areas of the grade 10 history course. Although 6 weeks late with his essay he demonstrated improvement in all phases of the research. Attentiveness an organization should be areas to focus on next year. His note taking and primary research skills continue to improve. Eddie showed considerable sensitivity and maturity at Meadowpark Nursing home. I liked Eddie's presentations and enjoyed teaching him this year.

Eddie got 59% in the final exam. He has an incredible attitude and it is always a pleasure to teach. He definitely needs to work harder and pay attention to details. Eddie is a brilliant student, but he seems to have difficulty focusing at times. He struggles to communicate the ideas that he has in written formats. He did not complete an ISP or the final exam and as a result, he was unsuccessful in this course.
