2000000000000 Bytes laut Hersteller (2TB)

/ 1024 = 1953125000 KiBytes
/ 1024 = 1907348,6328125 MiBytes
/ 1024 = 1862,645149231 GiBytes
/ 1024 = 1,818989404 TiBytes

ZFS benötigt ca 1/100 für die interne Verwaltung (Metadatenblöcke).

Zusätzlich reserviert sich ZFS ca 1/64 des Pools damit er nicht voll läuft.

Also ergibt sich folgende Formel:

Größe der Festplatte * Anzahl der Platten = Physikalische-Größe

Phys. Größe - ( Phys. Größe / 100) = VDEV-Größe

VDEV-Größe + Andere VDEVs = Summe VDEVs

Summe VDevs - ( Summe VDevs / 64 ) = Pool Größe.

Oder Kurz bei nur einem VDEV im Pool:

Phys. Größe - (( Phys. Größe / 100) + (Phys. Größe / 64)) = Pool-Größe

-> Theoretische Größe im ZFS Stripe (Raid0):

1862,645149231 GiBytes * 5 HDDs = 9313,225746155 GiBytes

9313,225746155 GiBytes - ((9313,225746155 GiBytes / 64) + (9313,225746155 GiBytes / 100)) = 9074,57433641 GiBytes

-> Theoretische Größe Raidz1 (RAID5):

1862,645149231 GiBytes * (5-1) HDDs = 7450,580596924 GiBytes

7450,580596924 GiBytes - ((7450,580596924 GiBytes / 64) + (7450,580596924 GiBytes / 100)) = 7259,659469128 GiBytes

-> Theoretische Größe im Raidz2 (RAID6):

1862,645149231 GiBytes * (5-2) HDDs = 5587,935447693 GiBytes

5587,935447693 GiBytes - ((5587,935447693 GiBytes / 64) + (5587,935447693 GiBytes / 100)) = 5444,744601846 GiBytes
