Course Description
This preliminary HSC course explores the recording and manipulation of sounds within a digital environment. Students
will develop the skills to effectively plan and manage recording projects. Students will also develop an awareness of
marketing, promotion and distribution strategies.

Particular Course Requirements
The course is primarily based around practical experience. Students will plan their own recording project and then
work towards the production of a final recording. Submissions, interviews, observations and reflections will also be
assessable course components. No previous musical experience is necessary to undertake this course.
