/usr/local/src/iptables-1.3.5

les sources du noyaux:

/usr/src/kernel-source-2.6.8

le patche p-o-m

/usr/local/lib/patch-o-matic-ng-20040302

voici un ls du repstoire -p-o-m

addrtype             convert2pomng.sh         iprange            nf-log                    quake3-conntrack-nat  rtsp-conntrack       TODO
childlevel ctstat ipv4options nfnetlink-ctnetlink-0.13 quota runme TRACE

conntrack_locking HOPLIMIT Netfilter_POM.pm pool ROUTE TCPLAG
conntrack_nonat      init_conntrack-optimize  NETLINK            pptp-conntrack-nat        rpc                   tcp-window-tracking
conntrack-seqfile IPMARK NETMAP psd rsh time

ce qui m'interesse ici c'est l'utilisation du string en prioriter

voici un extrai du fichier dasn le repertoire string

This patch adds CONFIG_IP_NF_MATCH_STRING which allows you to
match a string in a whole packet.

THIS PATCH DOES NOT WORK WITH KERNEL 2.4.9 !!!

Author: Emmanuel Roger <winfield@freegates.be>
Status: Working, not with kernel 2.4.9
Repository: extra
Requires: linux < 2.6.0

J'ais donc bien essayer plusieurs maniere de faire:

KERNEL_DIR=/usr/src/kernel-source-2.6.8 ./runme --batch extra/string.patch

ou

KERNEL_DIR=/usr/src/kernel-source-2.6.8 ./runme --batch extra/string

ou
./runme --batch extra/string.patch

A aucun moment il me propose ce patch durant les question, je ne le vois pas non plus dans le xconfig!
