: : : Okey-day...something I've noticed in the spec that doesn't quite click...
: : :
: : : Entente has a through-deck hangar covering three decks on a ship that measures over 1000 meters in length and 850 in width, and only holds 12 fighters standard? A hangar that is the only thing on three full decks can hold a lot more than 12 fighters.

: : Um, I don't think you can modify a spec to fit your purposes. :)

: I think Sarah pretty much covered what I was going to say. The spec is what the spec is, we have to play it as it was written.
:
: With twelve fighters, I was imagining two squads, Red and Gold, or something similar. And we just play it from there. There is a particular class of fighter I also hope to be able to implement. More details on that as it comes available.

But the edict said that the Entente was to attempt to maintain the carrier atmosphere, which was presumably why she was commisioned as a Nimitz. Not only does it have capacity to hold the amount of fighters the Kansas carried, the main aircraft carrier class of the U.S. Navy right now is the Nimitz craft. Coincidence...well, maybe.

But you can't be a carrier with only twelve fighters. Even the Navy keeps sixty four(roughly five squadrons, with 4 left for recon or something, by my figuring).

We can handle it! As much as I'd like the huge amount of personal space...ECHO ECHo ECho Echo echo ech ec e...

Get my point?
