As I am sure you have all noticed, the ship's name and class have been changed. Due to several factors, including my not securing a new, updated spec for the Kansas, I failed to meet the requirement set forth when I had the charter edictified.
One possible solution, was to change the class to one that was already current. I considered the idea, and went with it. I think it will serve more than one end for the Kansas, and should benefit her greatly.
For those who do not read Command, the Kansas was decommissioned and re-commissioned as a Nimitz class ship. She was also renamed the USS Entente. In this action, she was further made a standard role playing environment, as opposed to an Alt-Roleplaying area. This is where those benefits I mentioned above come into play. Firstly, we will now be able to accept Academy graduates, thus making it easier to keep the roster populated. And secondly, solved the problem of the Kansas from existing in an 'illegal' roleplaying situation.
So, I welcome you all to the USS Entente, a Nimitz class ship. She is loaded with new toys to play with, such as the wave Motion Gun, the Interphasic System, the Holo-Generator, and yes, she still carries fighters! So, read up on our new spec, it's linked at the top of the MOTD.
