Main Forum / Posting Rules:
1. All posts must be written in English. [a]
2. Insulting / Threatening / Flaming Behavior is not tolerated anywhere, even if you don't mean it, it can still be seen as a threat or insult.
3. All Anti-Social Behavior (Basically threatening or otherwise related) will be met with instant ban. [b]
4. Please follow the rules in the Role playing section exactly. No one likes short games and RP events are meant to be fun for everyone.[c]
5. Signature Sizes; 500x400 basically, can be either an Image or text or a combination of both as long as it fits this size.
6. Inappropriate Pictures set as Avatars and Signatures will be removed without warning. Most sections are meant to be a SFW environment. Post these kinds of Images in their respective sections. [d]
7. Spamming; No Bumping of old threads / No excessive spamming in the Shoutbox / No constant useless threads in the Spam area [e]
8. There is no need for Drama anywhere on the forum, even if its unrelated, if its posted on FurHaven, it becomes Forum Drama. [f]
9. No Underage material is allowed anywhere. Even discussing anything related to such will be met with severe penalties. [g]
10. The purpose of registering for "Studying" furry behaviour / postings is here by a bannable offence. Either you participate or don't register at all.
Shoutbox Specific Rules:
1. The posting of Images that are larger than smilies is discouraged. They will be edited to links.
2. The disguising of Thread notifications to links that go to other sites is a bannable offence.
3. Don't take shout editing serious, thank you.
4. The Posting to NSFW material isn't allowed, yet the nature of the shoutbox may contain NSFW material.
5. Offensive and downright asshole-ism is Bannable from the shoutbox. This is further explained under [h]!
6. Be Considered of others Sexuality if possible. If you are extremely grossed out, contact a Moderator or Admin for help, do not aggravate or continue the situation by yourself.
7. The Shoutbox is for holding conversations, it is not there to spam / be abusive / pretend to be funny when clearly throwing abuse at others. [h]
8. The Shoutbox rules may change at any given time and notifications will be given.
9. Shoutbox Archives are disabled for non Admins.
10. Admin and Super Moderators have the abilities to enforce these rules without question.
[a] There is a specific Forum subsection for other Languages.
[b] This includes Flaming, Swearing at members, Insulting etc. Even if things are not meant, they can be taken as such, therefore its best not to do it at all. If it is a minor issue, you will be warned accordingly.
[c] Roleplaying is restricted to the RP forum sections and RP box only, Roleplaying in the Shoutbox is allowed, but discouraged. Insufficient RP skills is not an excuse for creating poor replies in RP threads.
[d] This includes images of cubs / really NSFW imagery or racist imagery / wordings.
[e] This includes the shouting of Images in the shoutbox also.
[f] Drama includes; Purposely starting a swearing contest, the posting of items that offend a specific user or threads that are created with creating Drama in mind. Furry Drama maybe common, but its not welcome here.
[g] This includes the posting / mentioning / discussing sources / self sources / things you do for this category as well.
[h] The Seriousness of the shoutbox will be called into question when offensive / downright abusive behaviour is observed. Punishment is at the discretion of the Admin / Moderator present. No exceptions.
