As an HVAC Tech, we would occationally have customers inside large buildings, that would always be cold, or warm, never satisfied. Generally it was middle aged women, perhaps menapausal, not sure, don't care. Either way it caused many nuisance calls. After about 2 to 5 callbacks we would install a dummy thermostat in the office, and if possible, we would even hook up the pneumatics to the stat so it hissed a little if the customer adjusted it. Of course it was not hooked to any controlled device, but we would set the real stat (usually in the return air duct) around 71 or 72, and the calls would quit coming in. It's a miracle.
