<Kuailong> well, guys
<Kuailong> the opening night
<Kuailong> was. a. total. flop.
<Kuailong> first, i had the strobe set up on the catwalk, unplugged it after the song it was for, AND FORGOT TO TAKE IT OFF THE CATWALK
<Kuailong> got it during intermission though
<Kuailong> then, the chick in charge or wig mics changed the batteris during intermission, and, well, we had 14 being used, only two worked after intermission
<Kuailong> two of them she put the batteries in backwards, the rest she didn't turn back on...
<Kuailong> say so we didn't have wig mics for half the show, luckily, during rehersals we made sure to have the performers to use wireless mics along with wig mics, so they ere used to using wireless also.
<Kuailong> but for group numbers we had to crank the house mics, and well, it can cause feedback issues for the stage monitors and such
<Kuailong> oh, and one of my good friends, who had knee surgery earlier this year, when we were running around trying to tell the performers the wig mics were dead, she tripped, fell on her knee she had surgery on, ripped open the scar tissue, and her entire leg swelled up.
<Kuailong> and the mic we had up in the booth for announcements had a buster cord.
<Kuailong> *busted.
<Kuailong> but the performers recovered well
<Kuailong> my friend was still limping, but she could actually limp unassisted.
<Kuailong> so. yeah.
