[22:14] Andrew: he's back online
[22:15] Andrew: hi jamie
[22:15] Jamie: yeah, i got a msg from someone and msn crashed
[22:15] Chris: lol
[22:15] Jamie: hey guys
[22:15] Andrew: meebo is great
[22:15] Andrew: so what about 5th?
[22:16] Jamie: ha
[22:16] Jamie: we still going for two 5th islands?
[22:16] Andrew: his ideas count too
[22:16] Chris: well I was thinking of..
[22:16] Chris: "Isle of the Fallen Elves"
[22:16] Chris: I had this idea like 2 years ago
[22:16] Chris: so it's kinda faded
[22:16] Andrew: yes unless you have better ideas with story line
[22:17] Jamie: i can't write stories
[22:17] Jamie: my imagination is limited
[22:18] Chris: a small group of elves escaped from the harbinger and lived on an island for thousands of years
[22:18] Chris: and now the harbinger found them and wants to kill them off for good
[22:18] Andrew: ice island?
[22:18] Chris: could use that
[22:18] Andrew: since we don't have the map editor why not?
[22:19] Chris: so basically I need a deeper storyline
[22:19] Chris: any ideas?
[22:19] Jamie: well
[22:19] Jamie: we'll need to know how they escaped
[22:19] Chris: hm
[22:20] Chris: I need to review the storyline
[22:20] Chris: when did pman turn into undead?
[22:20] Andrew: which story line was this? original vircom?
[22:20] Chris: we're expanding on vircom's storyline
[22:21] Chris: twisting it up
[22:21] Chris: cause um
[22:21] Chris: 4th storyline isn't the greatest
[22:21] Chris: basically help save a guy covered in honey?
[22:21] Chris: wtf
[22:21] Jamie: to be honest
[22:22] Jamie: i havn't read two lines of the story line since i hit lvl 13 my first time
[22:22] Andrew: the crew back then didn't work very hard on that story line
[22:22] Chris: I was working on getting logs to put together the entire storyline so you could read it all
[22:22] Chris: but that project sorta died
[22:22] Chris: I needed help and noone was willing
[22:22] Chris: =/
[22:22] Jamie: npc text?
[22:23] Chris: yeah
[22:23] Jamie: just read the engl files
[22:23] Chris: it doesn't have everything
[22:23] Chris: npc.dll source would be nice
[22:23] Jamie: you want the text from it?
[22:24] Chris: nah it's useless
[22:24] Chris: doesn't have keyword to trigger text
[22:24] Andrew: why would you need the triggers?
[22:24] Chris: to know what they're talking abou
[22:24] Chris: t
[22:25] Chris: like a npc could say: yeah, he was my brother
[22:25] Chris: but you have no idea who is the brother
[22:28] Chris: well looks like I lost all my logs
[22:29] Jamie: i have some somewhere
[22:35] Andrew: As far as i can rember there where 15 Gods in the beginning, you have labled 6, and the rest got turned into the council of 8, with Tang as a god too or major boss if you like to call him that, with a couple of the council of 8 used in the gluri quest, years ago, major links got removed, by programers, and by Timerviewer complaining about broken quests.
The remaining gods that you have writen down, Artherk (harmony), Ogrimar (chaos), Lothar (justice), Harbinger (death) and Alyscia (chance/corruption).
Where to be used in the end of the game. will give a fast explaination.
(New world the one your compleating with the editor)
was surposed to be compleated by vircom, with pods already set up for monsters items , doors finished , quests done, basicly same as ar, rd, sh, the last quests on where surposed to end with karma quests, where the players get final rebirths and take on the form of dracons as there skins.
And then they are sent to a further new world (was never made by vircom never made it out of the planning stage's), harder stronger to beat, Here there where to be strong karma based with higher karma names for good and evil.
And in the end evil fights artherk, and good fights Ogrimar, with lothar, alyscia, and Harbinger giving players quests, to help them out, Harbinger was also linked to a netural Karma, but was never continued, and was dropped early in the beta version's but Harbinger stayed as a major player in the legend of t4c.
[22:37] Andrew: supposedly there's a synopsis.doc out there from vircom
[22:39] Chris: hm
[22:39] Chris: I found my logs
[22:39] Chris: have to run the perl script on them
[22:40] Chris: yeah I have the complete crimsonscale log
[22:40] Chris: from kilhiam to gypsy
[22:40] Chris: you guys want it?
[22:40] Andrew: sure
[22:41] Jamie: yeah
[22:41] Jamie: email it

[22:45] Chris: so all the players are seeds
[22:46] Chris: and we contain the rage of the dead races
[22:46] Chris: dwarves elves etc
[22:46] Chris: that's where wrath of the ancients comes from
[22:46] Chris: I guess
[22:46] Andrew: sounds like it
[22:47] Chris: 03/17/2008 11:34:30-- {Olin Haad}":" You are what we call the "New" "Breed". In your veins flows the blood of the elves, the orks and the dwarves of the past.
[22:47] Chris: players are new breeds

[22:47] Andrew: and can be either harvesters or givers of life
[22:47] Chris: yeah
[22:48] Chris: reading through the logs line by line
[22:48] Chris: you guys should too
[22:48] Andrew: he asks you which one you are

[22:49] Chris: is that the darkstone?
[22:49] Chris: oh the heartstone
[22:50] Andrew: its the one that olin haad wants not what gunthar gives you to give to olin haad

[22:51] Chris: we could build on this
[22:51] Chris: "cult of gluriurl"
[22:52] Jamie: wait
[22:52] Jamie: whats the line before that

[22:53] Jamie: i didnt see, but are we still going with seperate island for the place after 4th island?
[22:53] Chris: not sure yet
[22:53] Chris: trying to get storyline down first
[22:53] Chris: then we'll see
[22:54] Andrew: did you read what I sent?
[22:54] Chris: yes
[22:54] Chris: I think bringing the council of 8 is good
[22:54] Andrew: the main idea was that good fights ogrimar and evils fight athena
[22:55] Chris: evil fights artherk
[22:55] Chris: :P
[22:55] Andrew: lol
[22:55] Chris: I wouldn't want to fight athena
[22:55] Andrew: true
[22:56] Jamie: lol
[22:59] Andrew: okay so I think Gandy and Athena's idea for 4th does fit in with the story line. only they forgot to add karma quests and parts of the council of eight to help.

[23:00] Andrew: isn't it on trilogy that they came out with a neutral alignment?
[23:00] Chris: yeah
[23:01] Chris: so we could have the cult of gluriurl summon gluriurl again
[23:01] Chris: but stronger
[23:02] Chris: um question
[23:02] Chris: who is the nomad
[23:02] Chris: do you ever meet him?
[23:02] Chris: is that the draconis guardian?
[23:03] Chris: hm nah
[23:04] Andrew: no I don't think we ever meet nomad, he gets letter from general at druids and then the gypsy says hes in crypt
[23:04] Chris: yeah
[23:05] Andrew: maybe hes supposed to be the kraaian plague there?

[23:09] Chris: Artherk is light
[23:09] Chris: Ogrimar is dark
[23:09] Chris: Gluriurl is corrupt

[23:28] Chris: jamie?
[23:29] Jamie: k
[23:29] Jamie: need food afk a min
[23:30] Andrew: After the Battle of Emanations, the eight most powerful dragons that remained banded together to form the council. We exist now to watch and guard places like this one. Some of us have already guided you in your journey. Take the gypsy, for example. She is one of us as well.
dragons=gods
[23:31] Chris: so gypsy is a dragon?
[23:31] Andrew: and a member of the council of eight
[23:31] Chris: hmm k
[23:32] Chris: I'm about halfway through the logs
[23:32] Andrew: darkfang must be one too
[23:33] Andrew: When we destroyed the Harvesters of Life, we vowed never to kill another of our kind. Olin Haad is a dragon after all, and as much as it pains my heart to say it, we must "prevent" him from summoning Gluriurl.
[23:34] Andrew: olin haad is a member of the council of eight
[23:35] Andrew: {Crimsonscale}":" Olin Haad was one of us when we attacked the Harvesters of Life. He was doing so well that I decided to give him the responsibility of keeping the Skull of Gluriurl. For some reason I cannot explain, he was "fascinated" with the Skull.

[23:38] Andrew: dragons can take form of humans
[23:40] Andrew: Oberon was marked as a traitor to his race and the one responsible for the downfall of his people. [23:41] Chris: so maybe lothar got hold of the elvenweave and revived the remaining elves
[23:41] Andrew: The tapestry depicts the majestic elven city that was buried by the human town of Lighthaven. Many believe that the ruins of Anwynn, the elven city, still lay beneath the human town. Some legends even say that deep inside one of its temples lies the "heart" of Lothar the Just.
