2009 Jan 03 11:00:07 <ajmorris> ---- Meeting ----
2009 Jan 03 11:00:08 <PrivateVoid> that is the unanswered question of the week :-(
2009 Jan 03 11:00:36 <electhor> PartyBoi2: Yes, always - work full-time night shift
2009 Jan 03 11:01:09 <drubin> /msg ajmorris How did you send that? (you can discribe after the meeting)
2009 Jan 03 11:01:11 <ajmorris> PrivateVoid, i guess because laptops dont like you?
2009 Jan 03 11:01:16 <ajmorris> LOL drubin
2009 Jan 03 11:01:17 <drubin> FAIL!
2009 Jan 03 11:01:28 <nathangrubb> it's called a /notice :|
2009 Jan 03 11:01:30 <ajmorris> drubin/nhandler //notice #ubuntuforums-unanswered
2009 Jan 03 11:01:31 <drubin> nathangrubb: thanks
2009 Jan 03 11:01:53 <ajmorris> 2 secs, lemme pull up the agenda...
2009 Jan 03 11:02:03  --> tim_sharitt (n=tsharitt@adsl-074-181-034-198.sip.hsv.bellsouth.net) has joined #ubuntuforums-unanswered
2009 Jan 03 11:02:34 <ajmorris> ok, first item
2009 Jan 03 11:02:41 <ajmorris> The UA Team Posts tracker
2009 Jan 03 11:03:29 <ajmorris> Firstly, the Ubuntu Forums Beginners team is going to begin using the tracker also, to get cross team collaboration... I assume there are no objections to this?
2009 Jan 03 11:03:52 <nhandler> Nope
2009 Jan 03 11:04:00 <talsemgeest> None here
2009 Jan 03 11:04:02 <PartyBoi2> none here
2009 Jan 03 11:04:04 <drubin> ajmorris: No not at all. I think it will increase activity maybe
2009 Jan 03 11:04:08 <nathangrubb> Nope
2009 Jan 03 11:04:18 <ajmorris> yep, i hope so drubin :)
2009 Jan 03 11:04:24 <drubin> ajmorris: Only issue. Does it have a CLI interface ? :)
2009 Jan 03 11:04:35 <ajmorris> lol... no, but one could be created :P
2009 Jan 03 11:04:58 <drubin> might be worth trying to get my python skills up
2009 Jan 03 11:05:03 <nhandler> Another idea is a panel applet like what 5-a-day uses
2009 Jan 03 11:05:15 <nathangrubb> well
2009 Jan 03 11:05:20 <nathangrubb> I could write something for it
2009 Jan 03 11:05:21 <drubin> that would be cool as well
2009 Jan 03 11:05:32 <drubin> I don't like firefox plugin thing
2009 Jan 03 11:05:35 <nathangrubb> Yeah
2009 Jan 03 11:05:43 <nathangrubb> or maybe a standalone app?
2009 Jan 03 11:05:47 <ajmorris> yes, a 5-a-day applet would be awesome...
2009 Jan 03 11:05:56 <ajmorris> you don't like the firefox plugin?
2009 Jan 03 11:05:57 <nathangrubb> I mean, it's not exactly like everyone uses gnome-panel or firefox
2009 Jan 03 11:06:19 <drubin> It should be a standalone app with a wrapper layer for the gnome panel
2009 Jan 03 11:06:25 <drubin> similar to all linux GUI apps
2009 Jan 03 11:06:56 <ajmorris> or a few wrapper layers... depending on what DE/WM people are using
2009 Jan 03 11:07:20 <nathangrubb> Well, GNOME, KDE, and XFCE would be the main priorities
2009 Jan 03 11:07:29 <ajmorris> +1
2009 Jan 03 11:07:31 <nathangrubb> but just making a QT and GTK standalone app should be sufficient
2009 Jan 03 11:07:41 <drubin> I am quite sure this is off topic :)
2009 Jan 03 11:07:58 <nathangrubb> We're still discussing the tracker
2009 Jan 03 11:08:00 <ajmorris> not really drubin...
2009 Jan 03 11:08:19 <ajmorris> https://wiki.ubuntu.com/UnansweredPostsTeam/Meetings
2009 Jan 03 11:08:25 <ajmorris> part of the agenda is the re-working of the tracker ;)
2009 Jan 03 11:08:31 <drubin> O
2009 Jan 03 11:08:41 <drubin> O just thought it was bt using the tracker
2009 Jan 03 11:08:54 <ajmorris> :)
2009 Jan 03 11:08:58 <drubin> I just like to stick to the agenda else it can last for ever
2009 Jan 03 11:09:55 <drubin> I think the re-work would be great. I assume there is some sort of web API for the tracker?
2009 Jan 03 11:10:21 <drubin> one that can easily interface with?
2009 Jan 03 11:10:27 <ajmorris> Secondly, a few people are suggesting/wanting the tracker to only flag threads that need helping, and to use thread subscriptions for tracking your posts... this can easily be accomplished, ideas on this? -- we could have the 5-a-day applet for tracking your participation to unanswered posts, and use a web-browser applet for flagging threads for help
2009 Jan 03 11:10:29 <PartyBoi2> Who would re-work the tracker?
2009 Jan 03 11:10:45 <nathangrubb> I would at least help
2009 Jan 03 11:11:09 <PrivateVoid> ajmorris, I would agree with that revision... I would like the tracker to not be used to track my posts
2009 Jan 03 11:11:28 <PrivateVoid> it would be good for it to not require us to make a post as well... so the threads still show up in UA searches
2009 Jan 03 11:11:46 <nathangrubb> shouldn't it just get the post URL and title?
2009 Jan 03 11:11:56 <ajmorris> yep, all that can be changed on the tracker PrivateVoid :)
2009 Jan 03 11:12:14 <PrivateVoid> ooh,... I guess I am a few versions behind then
2009 Jan 03 11:12:26 <PrivateVoid> I was still under the impression that we needed to post
2009 Jan 03 11:12:31 <ajmorris> hehe, PrivateVoid, *can* be changed
2009 Jan 03 11:12:39 <PrivateVoid> or are you saying it can be changed with programming not user config?
2009 Jan 03 11:12:54 <ajmorris> ah, i see what you mean, yes, reprogrammed
2009 Jan 03 11:13:53 <ajmorris> which brings me to the third point -- I need coders, PHP most importantly, as that is what the tracker is coded in. I would like volunteers to be in a 'tracker maintenance' group
2009 Jan 03 11:13:55 <PrivateVoid> also, I think some would sort of track to say that the posts have been 'answered' or 'solved' would be good as well.
2009 Jan 03 11:14:14 <drubin> ajmorris: does this fall under php coders?
2009 Jan 03 11:14:19 <PrivateVoid> a way to mimic Launchpad
2009 Jan 03 11:14:22 <nhandler> Well, I don't know any php, only perl.
2009 Jan 03 11:14:23 <ajmorris> yeah PrivateVoid, that is the purpose of changing the status, but automatically would be nice :)
2009 Jan 03 11:14:30 <ajmorris> yes drubin :)
2009 Jan 03 11:14:39 <drubin> I can help with php
2009 Jan 03 11:14:46 <nathangrubb> I know PHP also
2009 Jan 03 11:15:06 <PrivateVoid> I do not know PHP... but can try to learn
2009 Jan 03 11:15:09 <ajmorris> Yep, any volunteers, please PM me on the forums... i will also start a thread in the UA Team sub-forum, for those that could not make the meeting
2009 Jan 03 11:15:44  --> jamesrfla (n=James_Re@unaffiliated/jamesrfla) has joined #ubuntuforums-unanswered
2009 Jan 03 11:15:56 <ajmorris> The tracker maintenance team will involve more than php... we need to get coders for the 5-a-day applet, and web browser extensions
2009 Jan 03 11:16:14 <ajmorris> the most important tracker extension that needs to be made atm, is opera... (i think)
2009 Jan 03 11:16:30 <drubin> I might be able to help with php, client side CLI application for GUi interfaces
2009 Jan 03 11:16:39 <ajmorris> so basically, if you are a coder, join the group if you wish, even if you dont know php, as there will be other jobs for you :)
2009 Jan 03 11:17:07 <nathangrubb> ajmorris: sent
2009 Jan 03 11:17:13 <ajmorris> lol nathangrubb
2009 Jan 03 11:17:40 <ajmorris> OK, so it looks like A LOT of changes will be being made to the tracker very soon :)
2009 Jan 03 11:17:50 <ajmorris> The next agenda item, is Canned Responses
2009 Jan 03 11:18:32 <ajmorris> For those of you that don't know, Canned Responses are a service to put commonly asked/difficult questsions on the tracker, so that team members can easily just paste a url for the person asking the question
2009 Jan 03 11:19:00 <talsemgeest> ANd very useful they are too
2009 Jan 03 11:19:08 <PartyBoi2> Does anyone use the canned responses?
2009 Jan 03 11:19:08 <forestpixie> if you remember
2009 Jan 03 11:19:12 <nhandler> I've used them
2009 Jan 03 11:19:14 <ajmorris> I realise that not all people like this service, and prefer to answer the question themself, rather than posting a link, but i think a re-working of the canned responses would be nice

2009 Jan 03 11:19:25 <nhandler> Does anyone here know how to make greasemonkey scripts?
2009 Jan 03 11:19:28 <ajmorris> At the moment, they are only an RSS feed subscription tool
2009 Jan 03 11:19:34 <drubin> nhandler: just basic javascript
2009 Jan 03 11:19:39 <drubin> so in theory ye
2009 Jan 03 11:20:11 <ajmorris> So, i would like to know, do we want a tool added to the Web Browser extension, to automatically post the URL for them?
2009 Jan 03 11:20:14 <nhandler> Well, I think that we could make the canned responses more usable in the form of a gm script. For instance, they could add a box to the post screen that lets you choose a canned response
2009 Jan 03 11:20:18 <ajmorris> hmm, a greasemonkey script would be nice
2009 Jan 03 11:20:45 <drubin> ye that would be nice
2009 Jan 03 11:20:47 <ajmorris> it would best as a drop down list, as the list got bigger, so as not to clutter the post screen
2009 Jan 03 11:21:00 <drubin> ajmorris: add it to the "list of things to do"
2009 Jan 03 11:21:14 <ajmorris> ok, so greasemonky script it is, again something the tracker maintenance team will look after :)
2009 Jan 03 11:21:46 <ajmorris> Ok, third agenda item; Re-structure how people join the team...
2009 Jan 03 11:21:51 <ajmorris> (hi tuxxy__ and talsemgeest btw)
2009 Jan 03 11:22:10 <ajmorris> I am wanting to trial a joining method to the team...
2009 Jan 03 11:22:10 <talsemgeest> Hey ajmorris\
2009 Jan 03 11:22:42 <ajmorris> The user basically has to hang out in this channel, and get to know the team -- the will gain access to the tracker, and their involvment will be monitored...
2009 Jan 03 11:22:58 <ajmorris> obviously, they do not have to contribute much -- we are volunteers
2009 Jan 03 11:23:14 <nhandler> Who would monitor them?
2009 Jan 03 11:23:17 <drubin> ajmorris: IRC hang out in the channel is not a great idea
2009 Jan 03 11:23:30 <nhandler> Why drubin ?
2009 Jan 03 11:23:40 <ajmorris> but lately users have joined the team, and don't care about team collaboration -- currently we are a group of individuals answering unanswered posts, not a team...
2009 Jan 03 11:23:45 <drubin> this channel isn't that active at the best of times. Also the users might not be IRC orientated
2009 Jan 03 11:23:56 <ajmorris> drubin, yeah... i agree, some also cant get onto IRC...
2009 Jan 03 11:23:58 <drubin> I do agree with that point
2009 Jan 03 11:24:24 <forestpixie> where else could they go then drubin ?
2009 Jan 03 11:24:34 <ajmorris> I can point users towards this channel, but collaboration in our sub-forum and on the tracker is what i would mainly be looking for
2009 Jan 03 11:24:56 <PrivateVoid> I agree on the team part ajmorris
2009 Jan 03 11:25:08 <Rocket2DMn> alright im back, feeling well enough to at least look at the screen
2009 Jan 03 11:25:10 <drubin> forestpixie: ajmorris's point
2009 Jan 03 11:25:12 <ajmorris> nhandler, re: who would monitor them... we *could* have a team, to monitor them... or i could solely do it, depending on the in-take of members
2009 Jan 03 11:25:19 <PrivateVoid> but... to make it more of a team I think we need to come up with team goals beyond answering unanswered posts
2009 Jan 03 11:25:21 <PartyBoi2> wb Rocket2DMn
2009 Jan 03 11:25:44 <drubin> I have a rather odd idea.
2009 Jan 03 11:25:58 <PartyBoi2> I think a team to monitor would be better
2009 Jan 03 11:26:10 <drubin> nah..
2009 Jan 03 11:27:06 <ajmorris> what do you have in mind PrivateVoid?
2009 Jan 03 11:27:43 <PrivateVoid> ajmorris, nothing in mind... just saying that to this point I do not think there are any 'activities' defined for the team
2009 Jan 03 11:27:45 <nhandler> ajmorris: Could we also add a comment field to the tracker?
2009 Jan 03 11:27:50 <PrivateVoid> beyond answering unanswered posts...
2009 Jan 03 11:28:04 <PrivateVoid> if we had some... then a team would develop...
2009 Jan 03 11:28:32 <ajmorris> nhandler, there is a comment field already... but you have to change the status of the flagged thread to add a comment... again something that can be changed...
2009 Jan 03 11:28:39 <PrivateVoid> there also might be a tie-in with the BT Education team -- as unanswered posts usually mean that there is a lack of knowledge in the area of that question
2009 Jan 03 11:29:12 <forestpixie> or that it's fallen of the edge which is just about time
2009 Jan 03 11:29:25 <nhandler> ajmorris: Could we get one of the uap bots to announce in the irc channel when someone tags a thread?
2009 Jan 03 11:29:46 <ajmorris> yeah, we can get a bot to do that :)
2009 Jan 03 11:29:53 <drubin> nhandler: I like that
2009 Jan 03 11:30:12 <Rocket2DMn> nice, hopefully it wont end up being too much like spam though
2009 Jan 03 11:30:12 <nhandler> And on that note, I need to run. I'll read the logs later
2009 Jan 03 11:30:22 <ajmorris> PrivateVoid, re: extra activities... its a good idea... and yeah, we can tie-in with the BT education team...
2009 Jan 03 11:30:27 <ajmorris> later nhandler
2009 Jan 03 11:30:47 <PrivateVoid> Perhaps we could have a unanswered post of the week... or something too...
2009 Jan 03 11:31:00 <PrivateVoid> just have to do things beyond answer posts IMHO...
2009 Jan 03 11:31:01 <ajmorris> haha, yeah, like the unanswered posts day
2009 Jan 03 11:31:24 <PrivateVoid> I am sorry for being so distracted with this fraking laptop...
2009 Jan 03 11:31:29 <PrivateVoid> I am not on my game tonight
2009 Jan 03 11:31:54 <ajmorris> yeah, i can discuss things with bodhizazen also... (and you, since you're the BT education team leader)
2009 Jan 03 11:32:01 -*- PrivateVoid reads back
2009 Jan 03 11:32:09 <PrivateVoid> I think canned responses are wrong to use...
2009 Jan 03 11:32:19 <Rocket2DMn> +1
2009 Jan 03 11:32:22 <PrivateVoid> but would be ok with having an FAQ to refer too.
2009 Jan 03 11:32:33 <PartyBoi2> +1
2009 Jan 03 11:32:42 <Rocket2DMn> too generic, not really terribly helpful. i think well tend to keep our own repository of useful links to shell out to people
2009 Jan 03 11:32:55 <Rocket2DMn> we all*
2009 Jan 03 11:33:06 <nathangrubb> People didn't go on UF for personalized responses, they went to get an answer
2009 Jan 03 11:33:11 <nathangrubb> I see nothing wrong with using them
2009 Jan 03 11:33:13 <PrivateVoid> that would help new volunteers find the answers... but to be honest for everything but the basic stuff I think people who use an FAQ should be working in a level one help desk job...
2009 Jan 03 11:33:41 <Rocket2DMn> nathangrubb, we're also here to build community. personalized support is one thing that makes ubuntu great, esp. for beginners
2009 Jan 03 11:33:47 <PrivateVoid> the problem with a canned response is that if a person uses it and doesn't know the actual answer beyond that... and the 'solution' doesn't work...
2009 Jan 03 11:33:51 <PrivateVoid> then there is an issue...
2009 Jan 03 11:34:03 <ajmorris> yes, i agree... but the main point of the canned responses, is for the questions that are asked a lot...
2009 Jan 03 11:34:25 <Rocket2DMn> i think questions that are asked a lot tend to get answered before we get to them
2009 Jan 03 11:34:32 <PrivateVoid> If we point them to it... or say I found this in an FAQ that is ok... but you just cut-n-paste I think lowers the level of expectation for team members
2009 Jan 03 11:35:01 <nathangrubb> Rocket2DMn: well, if there are no responses and you post a link, someone else would be posting a personalized reply; theirs takes longer
2009 Jan 03 11:35:07 <PrivateVoid> for that we should simply have a sticky or send people to a wiki page...
2009 Jan 03 11:35:28 <PrivateVoid> I do not mind links...
2009 Jan 03 11:35:29 <ajmorris> nathangrubb, the point is not to get their first...
2009 Jan 03 11:35:33 <ajmorris> *there
2009 Jan 03 11:35:53 <nathangrubb> ajmorris: I was refuting what Rocket2DMn said
2009 Jan 03 11:35:59 <PrivateVoid> it is then obvious that the person making the response is not claiming 'knowledge' just that they found a 'thread' or 'response' that sounds like it might work
2009 Jan 03 11:35:59 <talsemgeest> PrivateVoid: All the canned responses are just links to wiki pages to insert into a post
2009 Jan 03 11:36:19 <PrivateVoid> yeah... I am not for inserting in to the posts... links are ok though IMHO
2009 Jan 03 11:36:51 <ajmorris> ok, we can turn the canned responses into a FAQ, for the questions that are asked a lot...
2009 Jan 03 11:37:11 <Rocket2DMn> by the time we get to posts, its definitely ok to give helpful links even if we dont have an answer, at least it can point people in the possible right direction. just be sure to tell them that
2009 Jan 03 11:37:15 <ajmorris> the BT could use our FAQ for their Education team also...
2009 Jan 03 11:37:23 <PrivateVoid> ajmorris, yep
2009 Jan 03 11:37:25 <ajmorris> but again something i can discuss with teh BT at a later date
2009 Jan 03 11:37:32 <PrivateVoid> or we could co-locate it to limit double effort
2009 Jan 03 11:37:40 <ajmorris> +1 Rocket2DMn
2009 Jan 03 11:37:45 <ajmorris> ok, so FAQ it is
2009 Jan 03 11:37:49 <PrivateVoid> I think a large portion of both teams are the same people :-)
2009 Jan 03 11:38:21 <ajmorris> yeah
2009 Jan 03 11:38:23 <drubin> at least I think every one on the UA is on the BT
2009 Jan 03 11:38:30 <ajmorris> not quite
2009 Jan 03 11:38:39 <ajmorris> and there are members on the UA not here right now
2009 Jan 03 11:38:48 <drubin> O ok
2009 Jan 03 11:38:59 <drubin> either way... the other lap is pretty big
2009 Jan 03 11:39:31 <ajmorris> ok, the next item is Team activity checks -- but this will go into the 5-a-day applet, so no need to discuss this again
2009 Jan 03 11:39:58 <drubin> nah don't think it need re- discussing
2009 Jan 03 11:40:19 <ajmorris> ok, ashmew2 isnt here... but he had 2 agenda items...
2009 Jan 03 11:40:29 <ajmorris> A bot which sends a user a PM about marking thread as solved and maybe other (?) things.Possibly controlled by members of Unanswered Posts Team.
2009 Jan 03 11:40:54 <ajmorris> i think this is a bad idea...
2009 Jan 03 11:41:09 <ajmorris> we cant just badger UF users with annoying PMs about marking their threads as solved
2009 Jan 03 11:41:16 <Rocket2DMn> +1 on bad idea, i dont think we want bots working the forum at all
2009 Jan 03 11:41:25 <ajmorris> +1
2009 Jan 03 11:41:39 <drubin> +1
2009 Jan 03 11:41:42 <ajmorris> im not sure hte forum gods would be too happy with it either
2009 Jan 03 11:41:57 <ajmorris> his next other item was: What makes the Unanswered Posts Team Member different from the Average Joe and How do we as a team actually make a difference ?
2009 Jan 03 11:42:00 <drubin> the bot can post a msg in the irc channel
2009 Jan 03 11:42:27 <ajmorris> well, we have pretty much discussed this -- a team working on unanswered posts, is better than individuals working on them
2009 Jan 03 11:42:34 <ajmorris> more get answered, = more happy UF users
2009 Jan 03 11:43:01 <ajmorris> as the tracker gets developed more, this will become more apparent, as well as when we get more users
2009 Jan 03 11:43:07 <Rocket2DMn> drubin, yes, but just having a bot querying the forums is generally not a really good idea
2009 Jan 03 11:43:11 <PrivateVoid> I am against PMs
2009 Jan 03 11:43:16 <Rocket2DMn> at least one that does stuff automiatcally
2009 Jan 03 11:43:17 <PrivateVoid> unless -- it is an opt-in
2009 Jan 03 11:43:33 <drubin> Rocket2DMn: I aggree with you.
2009 Jan 03 11:43:55 <drubin> I was saying that *if* it is marked as solved (in the tracker) the bot to post that in the channel
2009 Jan 03 11:44:08 <Rocket2DMn> ah
2009 Jan 03 11:44:41 <PrivateVoid> tracker tie-in makes more sense and is easier to manage...
2009 Jan 03 11:44:59 <PrivateVoid> but I would still want volunteers to be able to opt-in for the messaging
2009 Jan 03 11:46:02 <PrivateVoid> how are we different than the average Joe... we are not-- except we 'try' to solve issues for people
2009 Jan 03 11:46:02 <ajmorris> but would users want to be sent annoying messages reminding them to mark their threads as solved?
2009 Jan 03 11:46:28 <electhor> I doubt it after the first time
2009 Jan 03 11:46:38 <drubin> ajmorris: no
2009 Jan 03 11:47:26 <PrivateVoid> I thought we were looking at UA members being sent notices for threads marked by the applet?
2009 Jan 03 11:47:42 <ajmorris> im not sure PrivateVoid... i dont think that is what ashmew2 meant...
2009 Jan 03 11:47:57 <ajmorris> "A bot which sends a user a PM about marking thread as solved"
2009 Jan 03 11:48:03 <ajmorris> depends which way you read it i suppose
2009 Jan 03 11:48:04 <forestpixie> I read is as you did ajmorris
2009 Jan 03 11:48:16 <PrivateVoid> ah...
2009 Jan 03 11:48:27 <PrivateVoid> then no... I would not like that to be done...
2009 Jan 03 11:48:30 <PrivateVoid> while it is polite...
2009 Jan 03 11:48:34 <PrivateVoid> A bot is a bad idea
2009 Jan 03 11:48:45 <PrivateVoid> we should use PMs for frequent abusers and be personal about it
2009 Jan 03 11:49:30 <ajmorris> agreed :) - but be careful re: asking people to mark their thread as solved... i have seen a user get an infraction for it..
2009 Jan 03 11:49:45 <ajmorris> but if you are nice, and just mention that the option is there to be used, it should be ok
2009 Jan 03 11:49:47 <PrivateVoid> PM is always best...
2009 Jan 03 11:49:55 <ajmorris> yep
2009 Jan 03 11:50:10 <ajmorris> ok, last agenda item, by PartyBoi2 - Fixed monthly meetings
2009 Jan 03 11:50:11 <PrivateVoid> never use a public venue to 'teach' someone an un-solicited lesson
2009 Jan 03 11:50:22 <drubin> I can't stay up any more. Will read logs later.
2009 Jan 03 11:50:25 <drubin> :)
2009 Jan 03 11:50:29 <ajmorris> i agree for the most part, and over the next few months, we should have a lot to discuss...
2009 Jan 03 11:50:31 <Rocket2DMn> sound advice PrivateVoid
2009 Jan 03 11:50:37 <PartyBoi2> Could we have a monthly or bi-monthly meeting that starts straight after the BT monthly meeting, which makes it easier for those who attend the BT meeting to attend the UA one. This also might encourage more people to attend the UA meetings, members and non members.
2009 Jan 03 11:50:40 <ajmorris> night drubin
2009 Jan 03 11:50:42 <Rocket2DMn> my mother could make use of it, lol
2009 Jan 03 11:50:58 <PartyBoi2> If the meeting was on a fixed time schedule people could consider adding it to their UF profile sigs which might encourage people to get involved in UA. But I guess some UA 'activities' should be defined first as mentioned.
2009 Jan 03 11:50:58 <PartyBoi2> Just my 2 cents worth :)
2009 Jan 03 11:51:11 <ajmorris> PartyBoi2, the bt meetings are late for many people, we couldnt have it directly after it
2009 Jan 03 11:51:15 <ajmorris> i think a different day is best...
2009 Jan 03 11:51:27 <PrivateVoid> on the subject of meetings I would not think them to be necessary until we have more 'team' business
2009 Jan 03 11:52:10 <ajmorris> ok, for the moment... we'll have a meeting when i think we need one... we will need to work on more than just unanswered posts i suppose before we have one, like PrivateVoid suggested
2009 Jan 03 11:52:14 <Rocket2DMn> if this team is to hold regular meetings, then need to be really short, like simple status meetings
2009 Jan 03 11:52:26 <forestpixie> +1
2009 Jan 03 11:52:52 <ajmorris> yeah Rocket2DMn, we could hold regular status meetings, and have proper meetings every so often...
2009 Jan 03 11:53:52 <ajmorris> Oh, i missed promotion of the team on the forums -- thinking about it again, i think ill get a sticky somewhere, with "the UA Team needs you"
2009 Jan 03 11:54:51 <ajmorris> OK, before we conclude, does anyone else have anything else they want to suggest/discuss?
2009 Jan 03 11:55:08 <PrivateVoid> Not I
2009 Jan 03 11:57:02 <ajmorris> ok :)
2009 Jan 03 11:57:04 <Rocket2DMn> ok i think we're done
2009 Jan 03 11:57:10 <ajmorris> --- End Meeting ---
