<Sp4rKy> please is there any audacious dev here ?
<Chainsaw> What do you need them for, Sp4rKy?
<Sp4rKy> 'cause i'm packaging audacious for ubuntu
<Sp4rKy> and there is a bug in libaudacious (soname)
<Chainsaw> Okay. I take it you have questions, then?
<Chainsaw> Be more specific.
<Sp4rKy> the soname of the libaudacious is 3.0.0
<Sp4rKy> whereas it must be 3
<Chainsaw> According to whose rules?
<Sp4rKy> so audacious can't be add to the ubuntu packages with this bug
* Chainsaw shrugs
<Chainsaw> So don't add it.
<Sp4rKy> debian maintener guide
<Chainsaw> A direct link to the text that says "3.0.0 is illegal".
<Chainsaw> I would highly recommend that you have that before you bother nenolod about it, at any rate.
