I dunt know wheather it is detecting my builtin VGA or THE ATI AGP CARD
Some one on #slackware told me to download and compile the new kernel so i downloaded the Kernel 2.6.17.8 compiled it and boot from it
agpgart loaded successfully
Then i download a driver from www.ATI.com and installed it
when i try glxinfo i got the following messeages
/glxinfo > /home/umair/glx.txt
X Error of failed request: BadValue (integer parameter out of range for operation)
Major opcode of failed request: 142 (XFree86-DRI)
Minor opcode of failed request: 5 ()
Value in failed request: 0x45
Serial number of failed request: 27
Current serial number in output stream: 27
then i try 'radeon' and 'ati' as well in xorg.conf then in xserver
well its hard to define what i saw in xserver b'cuz every thing was shown more then 100 times anyhow i opened the console by shortcuts and do stuff like
./glxinfo > /home/blah/glx.txt
the result was same as now in Kernel 2.4.31
that is
