My heart is an open book
To all of those around
One must just take a look
And my emotions can be found
I tried to be happy girl
But death and pain filled my life
My hope began to unfurl
Slashing at me like a knife
Still I tried to give away
That which I could not gain
Working to make others gay
While all that I felt was pain
I put up a shell of reason
Trying to hide behind the cloak
But when my emotions became extreme
The shield went up in smoke
Still this shield I had to use
Because to complete my duty
I needed to keep up the ruse
That I was happy, a psudo-beauty
Never did I expect to feel
The concepts I was preaching
The curse I felt around me seemed so real
But still I continued teaching
One day I was helping
Another spirit as lost as I
Trying to prevent another wanderer forming
My pain must of showed in my eye
Because that is when I was saved
By an angel from the skies
I had never felt so loved
As when that angel had swept tears from my eyes
That is when she gave me a hug
And rested her head upon my shoulder
My love for the angel went to a scorching flame
Growing from its starting smoulder
I told my Guardian angel then
Like a confession
That I deeply loved her now
And my love would never lessen
She was not sure how to respond
For she also loved me
She wasnt sure if it was the same
But it was just as deeply
I told her to take some time
To figure out he feelings and decide
If my angel loved me as just a friend
Or wanted me a lover by her side
I never feared what she would say
Any love from her enough
Even knowing that anything less
Than being lovers would be rough
But she quickly realized
That when I was near
She felt warm inside
And had nothing to fear
My angel gave me her heart that day
Her body, spirit, and her mind
She said she could never take them back
Because I never stopped being so kind
Now my lover is always near my heart
Her words never cease to lift me
What I call this careing angel
Is my love, Mitsimi
