New versions of Elive
A typical question is I don't want to reinstall Elive, but I want to have the latest version, is this posible to do via apt-get dist-upgrade ?
The answer is easy: Elive has many new features every time a new version is released. All these features are listed in the changelog section of the Downloads page. If you upgrade the packages in Elive then, of course, you have the latest versions of them.
However, some things are not in the packages, but in the entire system. For example, the installation method, better user configurations, some configuration problems fixed, other problems solved, a new kernel installed (some newer users do not know how to do this), etc... Sometimes there are important changes, but sometimes the changes are minimal or not important for your system... Advice: view the changelog and make your own decision. :)
