My spirits have been lifted since Wednesday, a hopeful feeling suffusing my body. I feel good about where America is heading again. We had pizza the to celebrate, and for once the topping stayed well on the correct side.
More personally, though, I haven't been as good. C_____ raised the possibility I might have a wheat allergy, and as much as I laughed it off, the thought has been gnawing in the back of my mind.
The Christmas ads have begun, with one in Time on the first, and another on TV yesterday. It was local, for, I kid you not, "Bob's Trees". Apparently you should pick your tree now and cut it next month.
