C_____ was out for much of yesterday, standing by the polls providing visibility for Mike Rousso. Thus, I spent much of the day on the computer.
My right leg has become more trouble recently. It seems the knee feels like acting up, meaning it's a hassle going up stairs with any speed. The knee doesn't bother me much, I think I just slept funny and that it will be fine in a few days, but the source, up around my hip, concerns me more and more. It seems to go up and down in soreness, but it remains there constantly.
As the day died and night set in (earlier every day), I began feeling nervously excited; the polls in some states would be coming in soon. At about six-thirty I turned it on, and at about twelve-thirty I turned it off, after watching hours of pundits talking, killing time. It was all worth it, though, to see Obama's acceptance speech. If I wasn't dead tired, I would've been crying. For the first time in too long, I actually can't wait to see what happens next. I'm still getting used to it.
