"...yeah, I was one of the first riggers. I've loved vehicles all my life, so I went in for one after I got shot down in Grozny. Had to keep my edge, y'know? It's a level-2 Mitsubishi from '95, before they came up with ways to wire it more cleanly, so it's invasive and clunky, but when you're linked in, does it really matter that it took me several months to recover? Nah. It's still a rush either way, especially now that I can feel my vehicle - literally. Before, you had to be in a kinda Zen-ish state to really feel that connection with your ride, now, it's available to everybody - everybody who can afford it, that is. Kinda sucks that it's not more available, but this ain't like getting some cheap handrazors put in by some back-alley chopshop. They wire up your brain pretty heavily, after all, and you only get one. *snorts* I suppose they'll come up with a way around that, but until then, this shit's expensive. It's an expensive hobby. "Oh, and expect to occasionally have to deal with some whiny Luddites who'll never understand how awesome rigging is. Speaking from personal experience, I'd suggest .45ACP, it seems to do well enough..."
