<Animator> I like the space thing, but he's asking for top-notch.
<LittleViking> It was decent at first, but then geti added in every one of his ideas, most of which haven't been approved.
<LittleViking> I don't remember what happened to time travel, but it's out of the plan now.
<Animator> We need a commitee.
<Animator> And we need to move this to IRC.
<LittleViking> IRC might be good. There are a lot of issues that need to be discussed, and this would be the fastest place to hammer out those details.
<Animator> Yeah.
<Animator> But I do like that Giant Snake Boss.
<LittleViking> Oh, sure. Maybe a bit early to be designing bosses, but it's certainly a good boss
<Animator> But I dunno if I could pull off an extremely detailed boss.
<Animator> My style is simplistic. That's what makes my work great.
<Animator> I don't know how to do complex textures and extremely detailed pixel-work, so just looking at the word 'detailed' makes me cringe.
<LittleViking> Well, you're one of the artists. The artists will decide the style of the game. We're not going to tell you what to draw, you're going to draw what you draw and then hand it to the rest of the team.
<LittleViking> Also, the graphics are 'open-source' too. So if someone wants to take your death worm and add in detailed scale textures, then that's up to them.
<Animator> Oh, really?
<LittleViking> Mmhmm.
<Animator> Sweet.
<Animator> I also have a Giant Space Battleship somewhere.
<LittleViking> The style will actually probably be pretty simple. We want consistent style throughout, so if one picture looks amazing, then they all have to look amazing. It's just easier to go with simpler work instead.
<Animator> Yeah.
<Animator> Maybe with a space theme, I could put my old Space Battleship to work now.
<Animator> Originally, it was meant for a shoot-em-up, but contact with the coder I worked with ceased. It took me 2 hours to make that.
<LittleViking> Wow.
<Animator> It has 3 small laser turrets, and 1 big one.
<Animator> Also, I still have some sprited enemies (and yet another boss) from the Forum game I worked on (which died off).
<Animator> And I still may have some sprite junk somewhere that could be put to good use.
<LittleViking> We'll have to come up with enemy ideas too. I think most of the guys are thinking robots and "N drones." Condog had concept art up where he literally just redrew every enemy from N. I thought it was stupid, but it at least shows that he's thinking robots. But I was always thining animal life, kind of like in Knytt. Just animals that happen to live on the surface.
<LittleViking> Maybe we can have robots and animals.
<LittleViking> Or robot animals, like Sonic. Or animal robots.
<Animator> We could have organic robo- YES.
<Animator> YESYESYESYESYESYES.

<Animator> I have left-over robot sprites, I could re-draw them into something else.
<Animator> We need robots. With guns.
<Animator> Or make it more diabolical, and make the enemy attachments of the game.

<Animator> Just pieces of the game that shoot you, but you can't fight back or else you destroy the game itself.
<Animator> Or the world itself, depending.
<Animator> Or hit you, or do something to you.
<Animator> But not in a IWBTG fashion.

<Animator> We could have robot generators. Or animal clone machines.
<Animator> We could have a planetary boss. Like Unicron.
<Animator> Ah, those were the days.
<Animator> We could have our own rocket turn on us and transform into a robot to fight us.
<Animator> A martian colloseum battle.
<Animator> Mountian-Climbing Mt. Olympus.
<Animator> Landing on the moon, only to see it's just a second Earth in a movie studio.
<Animator> I could go on.
<Animator> Or have fun with gravity.
<LittleViking> Animals are already clone machines. It's called breeding.
<LittleViking> And I fully support unicorn bosses. All of our bosses will be unicorns now.
