Hallo EMC-Benutzer, (Hello EMC-Users)

(EMC can compensate the tool length for the Z-axis. I can activate that with G43 H<toolnr.>. That's ok, but if I put in a new part, and zero everytihng (e.g. in G55), then Z will always show a negative position (equal to the tool length). With Mini you can always add an extra Offset, but you need to do that manually (prone to errors). Is there a posibility to do it automatically in G5x?)

Edit:
(it can work automatically! small correction for Set_Coordinates.tcl :)

proc getLocation {axnum} {
    global numaxis
    global val0 val1 val2 val3 val4 val5
    global forceval0 forceval1 forceval2 forceval3 forceval4 forceval5
    if {$axnum == "all"} {
        for {set i 0} {$i < $numaxis} {incr i} {
            set val$i [expr [emc_abs_act_pos $i] - [set forceval$i]]
	    if {$axnum == "2"} { set val2 [expr $val2 - [emc_tool_offset]]} # Fräserlängenkorrektur
        }
    } else {
        set val$axnum [expr [emc_abs_act_pos $axnum] - [set forceval$axnum]]
	if {$axnum == "2"} { set val2 [expr $val2 - [emc_tool_offset]]} # Fräserlängenkorrektur
    }
}

(If you then go to the menu to Set_coordinates, and then push Teach for Z, it will substract the tool length offset, and Z will be 0.0)
