I dunno. To the extent that we need recordings to happen when our techs make and receive calls, yes we did. I do not have the finite control yet that is promised by FreePBX, though. Our solution was to record everything coming into the specific extension that routes to our techs. On the outbound end, if recording is set to "Always" for the calling extension, once I fixed that bug in 'recordingcheck', those recordings occured as they should. Where I am still having trouble though is inbound recording. Say a call comes into ext 1000, the call is picked up at ext 1002; what happens is the 1000 call gets recorded until 1002 picks up. The 1000 recording then terminates and I get a 60 byte recording (header only, I think) for ext 1002. That doesn't bother us too much though; To keep 1000 recording for the full duration, we just eliminated the "/b" switch in the macro "Record Enable." This keeps the first recording from terminating when the call gets bridged to ext 1002, and the recording continues even if he/she transfers that call to another extension. If we need to retrieve that call for review, we use the timestamp in the 1002 CDR and then look for a near match in the 1000 CDR, as viewed through the ARI (Asterisk Recording Interface) for these extensions. It's a little cumbersome, but it meets our needs.

I hope this helps, but if not, write me back.
