And you think that you have problems, to make a long story short i think that after making a $600 rebuild of my computer, i think i accidently switched connections between the keyboard and mouse which gave me strange symtoms, blaming the new untested motherboard and new PSU i tore it apart and rebuilt my old computer, reusing the CPU, getting a small amount of Artic Silver on the CPU base, but it now had the same problem, and i then realized that i had switched the mouse and keyboard. while rebuilding yet again. i had to force the CPU out and bent some pins destroying the CPU, end of project for now, reordered new AMD Athlon x2 5200 from Newegg $102 am now awaiting the new CPU (3 days?) and i still don't know if my new $210 motherboard is good or not. such is the life of an accident prone computer enthusiast, back to using my old Duron 1.8 IDE computer. i hate that when it happens. :-(
