- 1. In OOwriter, go to Tools > Options > Language Settings > Languages
- 2. User interface should be default, change your locale setting to English (US) or what ever you use. Change your currency to what ever you use.
- 3. For default languages for documents, change this to English (Locale). You should see the ABC with a checkmark beside it.
- 4. Save/Apply/Okay, close OOwrite and reopen it. It should work fine now.
