Chapter 2: the Taste of something Sweeter

 

As the family from Trottingham started to arrive at the farm, the table was already set when Applejack came back from her room all dressed up. Applejack asked Rarity to make her a new dress for this party, as always Rarity outdid herself even now the family from Trottingham commended her on her new outfit. Applejack felt embarrassed but also honored by the compliments they were giving her, her mane was done in a knot and her tail was made in braid, the dress was a mix of reds and greens, Applejack did however put on her normal hat but made it look fancy with some ribbons. The mare was also a bit excited because she invited her friends over, she was especially excited to see Rainbow Dash, the table was filled with baked goods like apple pies, apple strudel and other baked goods but also there was apple cider from the day before, the cider had some different labels on it one with a mare on it the other with a filly this meant that the cider was either with or without alcohol in it, even Applebloom was permitted to invite her friends Scootaloo and Sweetie Bell. As the friends arrived Applejack walked up to her friends but was a bit disappointed because Rainbow Dash was sent there

“Hey you guy’s, is sent Rainbow Dash with you?” Applejack asked a bit worried

“No, however she told me to tell you that she will be a bit later” Twilight said with a reinsuring voice

Applejack sighed, but still was sure her friend would come to her, she sunk in deep thought about what happened earlier in the barn, she blushed when she was thinking about it, suddenly her ears perk up hearing a voice coming from above. It was Rainbow Dash flying as fast as she could almost crashing in the table but she just hovered above it, her friends at that moment closed their eyes but then opened them  because they diddent hear a crashing sound. They are all relieved that Rainbow Dash diddent crash the party

“I say, you all have put on the dresses I made” Rarity said in her normal voice

All the friends nodded, they all had new dresses and looked very good all of their main collars are in the dresses and all of them had a necklace representing there cutie mark, as Rainbow Dash landed next to the table she smiled and  her mane was tied with a rainbow colored ribbon, she gave her usual smile.
