The 6200 is your problem. I own a 5200 and a 6200. The 6200 will run
perfectly on a 4X AGP bus, but on an 8X
AGP bus it will lock up while playing back XvMC content CONSTANTLY. Add
Bob into the mix and it gets even
worse. The same card works flawlessly in my other machine with a 4X AGP
bus with the same nvidia driver revision
(8756) and XvMC + Bob. It's not doing HDTV in that box, but in my
testing on the 8X AGP machine, HDTV vs SDTV
didn't really matter so much.
I'm not sure what to tell you. Buy a 5200, I guess, until they work out
the issues with this card and the 8x AGP bus.
Disabling Bob should help a little, but it won't make it perfectly reliable.
