Blaring music can be heard within the vicinity of Chad's dorm. On the door knob is a small "do not disturb" tag.

Kalani knocks loadly on the door.
When you enter, you can barely hear yourself think. The music appears to be emerging from the computer in the back of the room. Currently playing is "Kenny Rogers - I Cant Unlove You" (http://sos5.cutpage.com/files/kr-icuy.wma ). Chad is currently laying on his bed with his face buried in a pillow. The curtains have been pulled so the room is near picth black.
Chad cant currently hear the knock due to the loud music.
Kalani tries the doorknob, which is unlocked, and opens the door. She's nearly pushed back OUT the door by the bass and plugs her ears. "CHAD!" she yells, trying to be audible over the music.
Chad pulls his head out of his pillow and spots Kalani in the room. He quickly gets up, runs over to the computer and taps a few keys which causes the music to fade out.
Chad walks back over to his bed while trying to secretly wipe away tears from his eyes, "I didnt notice you...walk in."
Kalani lets out a breath and unplugs her ears. "Oh. How can you stand music that loud? It's hard on your eardrums..
You say, "I just had to drown out the outside world for a while, thats all."
Kalani tils ehr head. "Why? What happened?"
Chad looks over at his tear-stained pillow and flips it over before Kalani spots it.
Dartagnan arrives from Southeast Dorm Hall.
Dartagnan has arrived.
Dartagnan barges in. "Hey, sorry I forgot how to knock."
Chad spots Dartagnan walk in and glares at him, "I dont even want to talk to you right now. Please leave."
Dartagnan says, "That makes it even more interesting. And I'm not a guy."
Kalani says, "Makes what more interesting..? Are you mad at Dart or something, Chad?"
You say, "fine...shething...please leave or Ill have to get Jim."
Dartagnan says, "What are you so mad about? Jesus."
You say, "I just am not in a good mood for chatty business right now."
Dartagnan says, "Then why is your girlfriend in here?"
Kalani turns red. "I'm not his girlfriend..."
Chad gives her an even more demeaning glare
Dartagnan says, "Strange, you two seemed perfect for eachother."
Dartagnan says, "Oh well. Since your boxers are in a knot, I might as well leave."
Dartagnan heads for Southeast Dorm Hall.
Dartagnan has left.
Chad slouches his head, staring blankly at the floor.
Kalani watches Dart leave, then turns back. "I'll leave too, if you want... I just wanted to ask you something, but I'll leave.."
You say, "no...no...in fact im glad your here."
You say, "kind of...makes me feel a bit better."
Kalani says, "Oh, ok."
Chad slowly looks up towards Kalani, "...so...your not mad at me?"
Kalani smiles. "Of course not; why would I be mad?"
Chad tries to give even the slightest smile, "...The way you acted yesterday...when you ignored me...I thought I did something to upset you..."
Chad drops his head back down.
Kalani says, "oh, I'm sorry. It's just... I have some.. problems right now, It's nothing you did.."
Chad sniffs a bit, wipes more tears from his cheek, and tries to giggle a slight bit, "I'm usually not like this...emotional and all...I usually tend to keep these things to myself."
Kalani says, "Were you crying.... because... you thought I was mad at you..?"
Kalani she leans over to look at his face.
Chad makes a very slight nod while keeping his gaze on the floor.
Kalani says, "oh, geeze I... I'm sorry. It's nothing about you, I've just.. Some problems of mine acted up the other day, and it's hard to keep control of my emotions.."
Chad lifts his head just the slightest as to just see Kalani, wipes the last of the tears from his cheek, and lets out a smile, "I'm just glad we got that sorted out. You don't know how worried you had me."
Kalani smiles and puts her hands behind her back. "I'm glad it's sorted out too."
Kalani looks towards the door. "Well, lunch just started.... You wanna go get something to eat?"
Chad smiles up at Kalani, "Yes. Im starving."
Kalani smiles. "Ok, let's go!"
Chad stands up and follows Kalani out.

Kalani smiles slightly and walks forward to her new place.
Dartagnan sits by Chad and Jesse.
Chad smiles, "saved your spot."
Jesse says still blushing lightly, "Thanks."
Kalani says, "Thanks!"
Mat glows white as their life points are restored.
Kalani gets her lunch and walks over to the table Jesse is at.
Jesse gulps. "Hey CHad."
Chad grabs his try and follows Kalani and sits down.
Chad smiles in Jesse's general direction, "Hi."
Mat sits at jesse's table, takes out laptop while eating
Kalani leans over to Jesse. "Do you two really...?"
Jesse looks at Dartagnan, because he knows she is going to tell Chad.
Dartagnan says, "Oh ho ho they did. They kissed alright."
Jesse whisper to Kalani. "I kind of do... but... I dont think she does..."
Jesse lays his head down when Dartagnan mentions the kissing.
Dartagnan says, "So sweet."
Crystal looks at dart
Mat feels like killing dart but doesnt
Dartagnan says, "Crystal! Why don't you sit by your boyfriend?"
Dartagnan waves.
Kalani snickers softly and looks towards the wall.
Chad silently watches the conversation as he continues to eat his food.
Crystal blushes "dart shut up"
Jesse says with his head down. "Dart didnt just say that... please say she didnt say that..."
Dartagnan says, "I said it."
Aelita rummages through her backpack.
Chad tries to giggle at some of the comments without spitting up his food.
Jesse says, "She said it..."
Jesse looks up at Crystal, blushes, and mouths, "Im really sorry for al lthis."
Kalani pushes her tray away from ehr and rests her chin on her folded arms, still staring towards the wall.
Crystal smiles
Aelita stands from her table and walks over behind Dartagnan.
Aelita whips a Scipizoa plushy out of her backpack and firmly lodges it on Dartagnan's head.
Jesse lays his head back down on the table and says, "Why me..."
Dartagnan looks up. "Wh...why...?"
Dartagnan shakes it off her head.
Crystal giggles
Mat sits typing not careing about what people say about him
Chad watches Aelita and Dartagnan in curiosity.
Dartagnan sighs. "So Jesse, you need to take Crystal on a date. Somewhere nice and sweet."
Crystal stares at dart
Jesse says quietly, "I dont even know if she likes me yet!"
Mat rolls eyes "geez would you stop dart your making him feel bad about himself even more
Dartagnan says, "A night out on the town! Like Jeremie and Aelita."
Jesse slaps his forehead and bangs his head on the table.
Aelita looks away. "What do you mean by that?"
Dartagnan says, "When you first came here, Jeremie walked you to your house through the city."
Crystal pushes her tray to the side
Mat gets up throws away his garbage and sits back down at laptop
Jesse whispers to Dartagnan. "Listen Dart, I dont even know if she likes me yet, how can you talk about us being together already?"
Aelita continues looking away. "That wasn't a date... I mean, he wasn't... he was just showing me around...
Chad takes the last bite of his food and pushes his tray to the middle of the table. He then sets his head down in his crossed arms on the table and turns to look at Kalani.
Kalani sits up abruptly, smacking violently at the side of ehr head. "I'm sorry, I have to leave," she says quickly, trying to leave the bench so quickly she trips and face plants. After a brief moment she stumbles to ehr feet and quickly heads for the door.
Kalani heads for Northern Courtyard.
Kalani has left.
Jesse looks up. "...Kalani...?"
Dartagnan says, "What is with all the love in the air?"
Dartagnan says, "Jeez."
Chad sighs

A boarding school courtyard, peppered with benches. All around it are brick buildings, three and four stories high, with normal-sized windows in perfect rows, through which classes can be seen being taught during the day. At one end of the courtyard is a small building housing vending machines containing all makes of beverages, from sodas to coffee.
Students are all over the courtyard, moving between buildings and classes. Some students are sitting on benches, studying or talking. The tree in the middle of the courtyard is in full bud, displaying little dots of green against the sky. Grass is growing around the buildings.
Fair weather clouds sail across the blue sky, propelled by light breezes from the west. It's warm in the sun, cool in the shade, and the air is clear and dry.

Chad spots Mat and takes off his earbuds, "Huh?"
Mat says, "have you seen dart?"
Chad nods, "Can't say I have.
Mat says, "ohh she went missing"

Chad puts his earbuds back in and continues staring out the previous window.
Chad sighs and gets up off the floor and carries his laptop while keeping his earbuds in.

There is a bright red track surrounding a football/soccer field. School buildings sorround the area, making it seem crowded. On the sides of the track, there are sun-bleached bleachers. Some students are sitting on the bleachers, doing homework and socializing. This is what the place is like by day. This is what the place is like in spring.
It's fair and mild, with a few clouds in the sky.

This room looks fairly average. Plain white walls, neat and tidy. But what really grabs your attention is a really large poster hung above the bed to the left of the room.
The poster features a view from outside of Sector 5 where 3 out of 4 of the active Data tunnels can be seen. But for non-Lyoko Gang members, it is just a piece of abstract art.
The bed is currently made with a pretty plain Navy Blue comforter on top. At the end of the bed is an obviously worn blue raincoat (noticeable by the faded colors and wrinkles) all bunched up into the corner.
On the right side of the room a dresser can be seen with a fairly common 19-inch flat panel television sitting on top currently running an animated Matrix-style screensaver.
In the back of the room is a basic table that stretches the whole width of the room, blocking the closet door.
On the desk:
To the left side and bunched up against the wall are 3 identical computer towers currently whirring away. In the middle of the desk is a fairly nondescript Black/grey-ish themed 21-inch LCD Monitor currently running the same exact screensaver as the television from before. Off to the right side of the desk a Black laptop can barely be seen under a strewn mess of cd's, jewel cases, and various papers obviously pertaining to classwork.
And on the rear of the door is a very generic grey and white alternating backpack being hung from a hook about 2 feet from the top of the door.

Dartagnan pushes Chad into the wall. "No. I have no idea where this is."
Dartagnan clutches her head, wincing and looking at her feet.
Jesse says, "Chad! DOnt be an idiot! Why would Dart do this?!"

Wanre falls onto his knees from the distortion. "My head..."

Several spectres pass by, noticing Dartagnan. "Are you... Dartagnan?" One whispers, and another one nods.
Chad lets go of Kalani for a moment, "What is this place?"
One spectre smirks and laughs evilly.
Jesse looks at the spectres, confused.
You begin following Dartagnan.
Mat says, "uh oh..."
A spectre lashes at Dartagnan with its claws!
Wanre groans slightly and rubs his head. "No, really, you think? This place reminds me of those cities in the future in the movies." he mutters crossly.
Dartagnan backs into a wall, narrowly dodging the claw.
Jesse runs in front of Dartagnan. "dont touch her!"
Kalani continues to cry, although she is sure to keep it quiet as she watches Spectres.
You stop following anyone.
The spectre laughs, grabbing Dart by the neck, shoving Jesse out of the way.
You begin following Kalani.
Dartagnan says, "Eeeeuegh--What do you--want of--me...?"
Jesse topples to the ground, but jumps back up, and runs at the spectre.
Mat almost gets caught but jump/rolls out of the way of it
Wanre watches the spectre closely as he crosses over to Kalani, standing in front of her protectively.
The spectre says nothing, throwing Dartagnan to the ground and turning ominously to Jesse.
Mat says, "JESSE"
Jesse says, "Bring it on! Im ready to rumble!"
Chad stands by Wanre's side, almost copying him in a way.
The spectre rams its claw towards Jesse, narrowly missing, reaching into the ground.
Jesse attempts to roundhouse kick the spectre.
Dartagnan says, "You couldn't hit the broad side of a barn!"
Kalani jumps up and out from behind Wanre and Chad and tries to help Dart as well.
Mat pushes jesse away from claw
The spectre dematerializes its stomach, then takes its charged claw out of the ground and knocks Dart and Kalani to the ground.
Dartagnan says, "Eyaaaarh!"
Jesse says, "Leave them alone! NOW!"
Wanre growls at the spectre as it knocks his sister and her friend to the ground.
Mat says, "we gotta go"
The spectre stares at Dartagnan.
Kalani yells when she hits the ground and continues to cry quietly.
Jesse jumps at the spectre, fists ready to fly.
Dartagnan stands up, balling her fists, jumping up and kicking the Spectre in the face.
Chad runs over to Kalani, "Kalani!"
Wanre runs over to Kalani and stands in front of her and Chad.
The spectre falls to its back.
Mat backs away from spectre
Kalani gets up and pushes Chad and Wanre away form her, sending herself back at the Spectre.
Dartagnan stands on its chest. "Die, you demon! Die you monster! Die you evil creature!"
Jesse jumps on top of the spectre. "No one hurts me friends.!"
Dartagnan says, "You unleashed the flood upon them!"
Dartagnan growls. "Everyone, back away.
Jesse says, "but... Dart..."
Dartagnan shoves her foot deeper into the Spectre's chest.
Jesse gets up, and backs off.
Wanre runs after Kalani and grabs her back, according to Dartagnan's command. "Listion to her!"
Dartagnan says, "You were the one, you were the one that broke the dam, that killed them all..."
Jesse says, "Dart! Be careful!"
Dartagnan says, "I swam for days to try and leave."
Mat says, "wow"
Dartagnan says, "You haunted me, but now you're in my territory. This is where I was born, before you made me a human."
Jesse begins to listen to Dartagnan, trying to understand what she was talking about.
Dartagnan says, "Where I was before you gave me a real life, and took it away just as fast."
Mat says, "what were you?"
Dartagnan draws up a pocket knife, and jams it into the Spectre's chest.
Dartagnan says, "Goodbye, my dark brother, and good night forever!"
Chad looks over at Dart and listens in confusion
Several spectres look terrified. "D'Artagnan the Storm," they whisper amongst themself.
Mat says, "you were once not human?"
Dartagnan stares evilly and slices her knife through two spectres who are conversing suddenly.
Jesse looks back at the spectres. "Want some of this?! BACK OFF!"
Dartagnan says, "I'm not one of you any more. I'm not a demon."
Two other spectres flee.
Jesse says, "Demon?!"
Chad scratches his head.
Wanre watches Dart cautiosely now, as well as the other spectres and lets go of Kalani. "Than what are you? A program?"
Mat says, "YOU WERE A DEMON"
Kalani covers her mouth and part of ehr face with ehr hands, looking utterly horrified.
Jesse says, "Demons dont exist!"
Dartagnan says, "Demons do exist, Jesse."
Jesse says, "...What?"
Dartagnan says, "I was one of their kind, I was a beast..."
Dartagnan says, "The light came forth, and I was reborn!"
Dartagnan says, "I was saved... but these demons were not."
Mat says, "hence your semi bad attitude... hmmm explains alot..."
Jesse backs up a bit, somewhat startled. "Impossible..."
Dartagnan says, "And with each slain Spectre they become humans, to live a real life!"
Chad continues to scratch his head, "So if you are one of them, you must know what this place is and how to get out..."
Dartagnan says, "I am saving the beasts I must kill!"
Dartagnan says, "There is a key, somewhere in the city."
Kalani yells, "I know where!"
Dartagnan says, "I was told never to go there."
Wanre rubs his head through his beanie. "God this is reminding me of the Bible." he mumbles to himself.
Mat says, "somewhere... of course a hunt"
Dartagnan says, "Be warned, once we take it, there will be danger."
Jesse is visibly becoming overwhelmed by what is going on.
Wanre staightens up. "Danger? Explain."
Dartagnan picks herself up from the three corpses.
Dartagnan says, "The spectres guard that key by their life."
Mat says, "great...."
Kalani says, "Then why didn't they stop me from entering the room?!"
Dartagnan says, "Our Creator uses it to exit his own domain, and roam freely."
Chad stands close to Kalani while continuing to stare around this place in wonder.
Jesse begins looking around nervously, and falls backwards onto the ground.
Dartagnan says, "They must not see you as a threat."
Mat says, "all we have as a weapon is your poket knife... i feel so safe...."
Wanre says, "Seriously."
Dartagnan says, "The key is only accessible by them... or those that were them."
Dartagnan says, "We must continue on."

There is a giant city square here, with a tower dangling from seemingly the sky, with millions of pod-like televisions hanging down, all adorned with a XANA eye staring deep into the souls of the Spectres. They do not blink or flinch, but instead stay completely focused on their targets. There are buildings all around.

Kalani walks in and wipes off her eyes. "This is the Key.."
Chad follows Kalani in.
Chad lets out a sigh of relief, "Now we can finally get out of here."
Kalani her eyes continue to stream heavily, although she doesn't seem to notice.
Kalani says, "But I don't know how to get it."
Chad walks around the guardian as to study the thing.

Wanre looks at the Guardian, than walks over to Kalani.
Jesse says, "What is it?"
Mat says, "a key.."
Kalani says, "THE key.."
Chad continues to pace around the guardian, studying it.
Jesse says, "What for? a door?"
Dartagnan looks at it.
Dartagnan thrusts in her hand.
Dartagnan takes Xana Key.
Wanre looks up at the Gaurdian and Dartagnan.
Several spectres drop down from the ceiling.
Dartagnan draws back her hand, looking around.
Wanre says, "...Crap."
Mat says, "uh oh we got trouble"
Jesse says, "Not again!"
Kalani slashes at one with ehr hand.
Chad spots the specters, "Oh shit!"
Dartagnan says, "Wha..."
Dartagnan says, "There's no way out of here!"
Jesse puts up his fists. "Im a black pet in karate! Ill kick your guys' butt!"
Wanre immediatly falls into a fighting stance, wishing he had the staff from his room.
One spectre laughs, grabbing Dartagnan by the shoulder and throwing her to the ground.
Two more of the five spectres come to look over her.
Mat has fists up in a boxing position
Kalani yells and jumps onto the Spectre, pulling at it with er nails.
One specter starts chasing Chad around the room in a comedic fashion.
Jesse runs at the spectre that attacked Dartagnan.
The spectre knocks Kalani to the ground.
Wanre rushes at the spectre that knoced Kalani to the ground, attacking it with his fists.
Kalani gets up quickly and goes after it again.
Jesse handstand kicks the spectre in the face.
Dartagnan gets up, kicking one spectre that was standing over her and staring at the spectre that attacked her.
Mat fights a spectre with fists
Dartagnan grabs it by the neck, holding it up, her eyes glowing red. "You MONSTERS! Do not harm them! They are innocents!"
Jesse sees Dartagnan, and topples backward in horror.
Mat gets thrown across the room and gets knocked out by a spectre
Jesse says, "D-D-Dart!!"
Dartagnan throws it into the chasm below, however, its claws grip onto the hole.
Wanre throws a roundhouse kick at the spectre before moving so that he could see Dart from the corner of his eye.
Chad runs over to help Wanre and Kalani fight off a spectre.
Dartagnan smirks, turning around. "Now, for the others..."
The spectre jumps up, grabbing Dartagnan by the neck and pulling her back down the chasm.
Dartagnan heads for Underground Cellar.

Jesse runs to the edge of the chasm. "DARTAGNAN!!!"
Jesse turns around, and with tears in his eyes, rushes a spectre in blind fury.
Wanre 's lip curls up slightly in a snarl before he turns over to Chad and Kalani. "You two okay?" he asks, telling himself that Dart would be fine, where ever she was.
Chad realises just what had happened there and starts sobbing, "Im ok."
Kalani covers her face, shaking ehr head, "This isn't right!!! It too much like some things he said!!!"
Jesse crying uncontrollably, jumps on a spectre that was on the ground and begins beating on him furiously.
Wanre hugs Kalani. "Shush. Ignore what he said right now. Calm down."
Look around you. You can go down the chasm.
Mat wakes up "agg"
Mat rubs his head
Mat gets up
Dartagnan yells, with a loud thud.
Mat says, "IM COMMING DART"
Mat heads for Bottom of the Chasm.
Mat has left.
Jesse gets up. "We must find Dart!!!* He runs to the edge of the chasm, and jumps down.
Chad notifies Kalani and Wanre while wiping his eyes, "Hey. looks as if there may be a way down."
Jesse heads for Bottom of the Chasm.

Kalani jumps up heads down the chasm.

Dartagnan battles with the Spectre.
Jesse lands with a thump. "Dart?!?! Where are you?!"
The spectre glows bright orange, revealing its position, and Dart's as well.
Chad scopes the pitch black room, "Dart?"
Kalani bounces slightly when she lands and does a sumersault.
Wanre lands with a loud thump on the ground before springing up his his fists in front of him in a defense position. He spots the spectre, and quickly rushes over to help.
Jesse says, "Ill kill you all!!!"
Dartagnan punches the Spectre in the face, kicking it in the stomach as well.
Jesse begins to run at the orange spectre.
The spectre makes a horrifying noise as it falls backwards, springing back and tackling Dartagnan.
Jesse jumps atop the orange spectre.
Dartagnan falls over, with the Spectre's claws ready to stab at her.
The spectre shakes Jesse off.
Jesse quickly gets up, and runs at the spectre.
The spectre laughs. "My sister, this fighting is trivial. Give the innocent to us..."
Mat grabs the spectre so it cant move
Mat says, "ugg"
Dartagnan The spectre becomes very hot, burning Mat's hands.
Mat says, "AAHHHH"
Kalani stays in her sitting position and cries quietly, although she yells, "He said some looked like this!!!"
Jesse begins to jump at the spectre. "No! Dartagnan!"
Mat kicks the spectra so it falls
Wanre grabs Jesse. "You'll get burned! Think before you act!"
Dartagnan ughs. "Brother... they are only children..."
Dartagnan says, "It's not their time... but it is yours."
Jesse says with tears running down his face. "We must help her!!! I dotn care!!
Chad sits down next to Kalani and puts his arm around her in comfort, "Its going to be ok. just think of it as a bad dream."
Dartagnan draws her pocket knife, thrusting it into the Spectre's chest, however, it absorbs it.
Jesse breaks free of Wanre, and runs at the spectre.
The spectre stands up and moves towards Kalani eerily. "That's right... just a bad dream..."
Kalani murmurs, "I wish all of that was a bad dream."
The spectre's eyes glow bright red, and it has a glowing grin on its face.
Jesse says, "I dont care if you can burn me! Ill KILL YOU!"
Wanre growls at the idiocy before seeing the spectre go for Kalani.
Kalani rocks back and forth, holding ehr head. "All.. Just a dream"
Mat stands on opposite side of spectre than the group. he has blood coming down side of face from getting koed earlyer
The spectre turns around, just as it was ready to take down Kalani, roaring at Jesse.
Jesse draws back his fist and lets out a loud battlecry.
Wanre runs in front of Kalani.
Dartagnan says, "Brother! You don't have to do this!"
Mat looks around to jesse
The spectre flings Jesse into the wall with a horrible thud.
Jesse says, "Gwah!"
Wanre yells at Chad. "Get Kalani away from here, now! Or God help I'll kill you!"
Kalani jumps to her feet and shoves Wanre aside. "JUST A DREAM!!!" she yells, seeming to go into hysterics.
Mat attacks the spectre with kicks
The spectre turns to Kalani. "As I was saying... it's all just a dream..."
Wanre pushes Kalani back roughly and kicks the spectre.
Jesse tries to get up, but had the wind knocked out of him from the impact.
Chad quickly nods, "You heard him. Lets get out of here."
The spectre is rock-hard suddenly.
Dartagnan picks up Wanre by the scruff of the neck.
Chad scopes this place, "But theres nowhere to go. we're trapped!'
Mat wipes blood off side of face
Dartagnan says, "Your brother has come to help... how sweet. If only my sister had such a sense of comradery..."
Kalani yells and pushes away from Chad. "JUST A DREAM!! MARA IT'S A DREAM!! TELL ME IT IS!!"
Wanre yelps as his foot comes in contact and yelps again as Dart grabs him. "What the hell! Let go!"
Jesse says, "...Dart..."
The spectre turns to Dartagnan. "You! My sister, you should know... those who have seen us, must die!"
Jesse attempts to get up again, but collapses, still out of breath.
Dartagnan stands up, fists clenched.
Wanre snarls at the spectre. "I don't blame her, you piece of shit." he growls loudly, swinging his legs up again in another attempt to kick it.
Dartagnan The spectre winces, as he was caught off-guard, but quickly shields himself.
Dartagnan says, "Brother! Does it pride you in killing the young and innocent?"
Jesse is sitll o nthe ground, gasping for air.
The spectre suddenly thrusts its claw through Dartagnan, with a sickening rip, as her eyes go wide and white.
Wanre presses his feet again the spectre's body, though by now he was becoming short of breath.
Dartagnan gasps for air, before hitting the ground, and going into silence.
Mat gets hit by the spectre and hits the rock wall and lays on the ground in pain
Jesse says, "NO!!! DART!!!"
The spectre growls. "You are USELESS!"
Kalani colapses and starts bawling.
Wanre falls onto the ground on his knees, massaging his neck.
Jesse attempts to get up a third time, and struggles to his feet, barely able to stand.
The spectre turns to Jesse. "I might make a new record today."
Mat can see his arm is broken " god damn you"
Jesse says with tears in his eyes, "You freak! How dare you! Ill kill you if it is the LAST THING I DO!!!
Mat says, "JESSE END IT"
Wanre jumps at the spectre. "New record my ass!" he yells, punching its head, damn the consequences.
The spectre is shocked, almost. "Human emotion... We move as one and die as one. We do not mourn. You are useless."
The spectre winces, taking the blow suddenly.
Jesse begins running at the spectre, gathering all his endurance he has left for a final attack.
Wanre notes this wince and pulls his hand back for another go.
The spectre looks shocked, almost scared.
Mat laying on ground watching figth
Kalani yells hysterically, seemingly unaware of anything around her, "Nooo this isn't right!! Tell me it's just a dream, like you used to, Mara!!"
The spectre thinks, "Oh no... without Dart... I am useless..."
Jesse puts all his weight into a dragon side kick, knocking the spectre far.
Jesse falls to the ground, spent.
The spectre hits the wall, as a miracle begins to happen. Dartagnan clenches her fist, still bleeding profusely.
Wanre isn't able to jump off the spectre and hits the ground with a loud thud.
Dartagnan gets up, as the wound is filled with shadow material just like the Spectre's skin.
Mat says, "agg good job jesse"
Dartagnan walks towards the Spectre.
Jesse says, breathing heavily, "Thanks..."
Chad cant take it all in so quickly, so he drops to the ground and assumes the fetal position.
Mat tries to get up with nonbroken arm but is in to much pain and falls
Dartagnan glows bright orange, drawing her knife. "Demon! Be cast from this world into the ninth circle of Hell!"
Dartagnan jams her knife into her brother's chest, as black blood sprays everywhere, from the glowing white knife.
The knife disappears suddenly.
Jesse is watching the strike, still breathing heavily.
Dartagnan says, "Brother, you were given chance to atone for your sins.""
Wanre lifts his head up and watches the scene before slowly trying to stand up.
Dartagnan says, "If only you understood..."
Dartagnan cries, suddenly.
Dartagnan says, "Earth is a better place... It is a world you gave me, by accident, but became one with me."
Mat tries to get up again but the broken arm isnt helping
Jesse says, "Da... Dart....agnan..."
Dartagnan says, "I was never meant to be a human, but I found it... I found love, I found happiness..."
Wanre watches Dart cry, and looks over at Jesse almost helplessly before walking over to Kalani and putting his arms around her.
Kalani watches Dart, being the quietest she's been since she got there.
Jesse smiles at Dartagnan as he pants.
Dartagnan cries silently, grabbing the spectre's skin and ripping off its chest, revealing a glowing light.
Wanre bows his head against Kalani's shoulder, a shudder traveling through his body.
Dartagnan says, "You had it inside you all along, joy... but you shielded it away under layers of evil."
Jesse cant beleive what he is seeing and hearing. His eyes widen in amazement.
Dartagnan says, "You found a horrible way of attaining this joy."
Dartagnan says, "But it still filled you... as the purpose of a spectre is."
Kalani reaches her arms around Wanre in a hug, keeping ehr eys on Dart.
Dartagnan says, "But I have found it in the true pursuit of joy...live, love, and be well to others."
Mat finnaly gets up and arm is in a position that obviosly you can see is broken
Jesse says, "Thats.... thats right... you... tell him... Dart..."
Wanre closes his eye, and feels his bodystart to shiver even more. Dart's words seemed to have an effect on him.now.
Dartagnan takes a glowing orb out of its chest. "Maybe this is what brough you and your kind joy, but when it was taken from me, I realized the way to find true happiness.
Dartagnan says, "Just as you always searched for, brother."
Dartagnan says, "Should your kind find you one day, let this be your lesson."
Kalani hugs Wanre tighter, tears still treaming down her cheeks.
Mat walks over to group away from wall on other side
Dartagnan says, "Cast away, Demon. Maybe you will end up as one of us, just as well."
Mat tries to fix arm in a way so it doesnt look like its broken
Dartagnan looks up, hopelessly. "But we're trapped, still..."
Wanre refuses to let the tears building up behind his eyelid run, and the effort makes him shake even more. "Mara..." he whimpers.
Jesse says, "Dartagnan..."
The spectre smiles, clutching onto its last fragments of life. It holds up its hand.
Dartagnan says, "Brother...?"
Chad slowly ascends from his fetal position and examines what had happened.
Kalani makes a small shushing noise as she digs her eyes into Wanre's shoulder, obviously thinking the same thing.
The spectre smiles. "I will join you soon..."
A white light envelops the room.
== Central Courtyard ======================================== Kadic Academy ==
A boarding school courtyard, peppered with benches. All around it are brick buildings, three and four stories high, with normal-sized windows in perfect rows, through which classes can be seen being taught during the day. At one end of the courtyard is a small building housing vending machines containing all makes of beverages, from sodas to coffee.
The courtyard is nearly empty. All the students have gone inside for the night. A few lights around the courtyard provide a pathway to follow back to the dorm rooms. The tree in the middle of the courtyard is in full bud, displaying little dots of green against the sky. Grass is growing around the buildings.
A cool breeze blows from the west, driving dark clouds before it which blot out the stars in patches overhead. Elsewhere they glitter brightly in the dark sapphire sky.

Mat says, "what are you talking about"
Dartagnan yawns. "All it was to me was a dream... the end of a long, long recurring nightmare."
Wanre mumbles as he stands up with a dark expression, "A nightmare I'd rather soon forget."
Jesse smiels a little. "So its over?"
Kalani smiles softly and wipes off her right eye. "You were always there, Mara.." she murmurs to no one inparticular.
Chad shakes his head, "...Just a nightmare..."
Dartagnan smiles up at the sky. "Goodbye, shadows of my past..."
Jesse puts his arm around Dartagnan. "And hello future!"
Dartagnan shakes off Jesse's arm.
Dartagnan says, "Ew. No."
Kalani stands up, wiping off ehr other eye. "Now, if the clouds clear off, we could All watch...."
Jesse says, "Wow. I was just trying to be nice. Jeez."
Dartagnan says, "Well, I won't tell Odd, just because I'm feeling nice after... my dream."
Jesse rolls his eyes. "Sorry Dart... hopefully, im taken!"
Chad sits down on the ground and proceeds to stare up at the clouds.
A small pebble about the size of your thumb falls out of the sky and hits Chad on the forehead.
You say, "Ow!"
Jesse laughs aloud at the sight.
Wanre looks up at the sky.
Chad rubs his forehead.
Mat has disconnected.
Wanre watches Chad.
Kalani giggles and walks over, picking up the pebble. "...The meteor shower..."
Wanre Than looks away sharply with a scowl. "I'm going to my room." he says softly, his head so low that his chin was touching his chest. "I need to be alone."
Wanre heads for Northern Courtyard.
Wanre has left.
Chad stands up slowly.
Jesse says, "I jsut cant believe you held that in, Dart... I would have cracked already..."
Chad smiles over at Kalani, "...It's over..."
Dartagnan says, "It's a secret that wasn't meant to ever be."
Dartagnan says, "Keep it under your hat, eh?"
Chad winks, "Your secret is safe with me."
Jesse says smiling. "Always!"
Kalani smiles at Chad and puts the pebble in her pocket. "Yes... It's all.. Over.. Secrets will remain unspoken." She looks at the sky once more.
Dartagnan smirks. "You know, back there, the sky was beautiful in a different way."
Jesse says while thinking about it, "Yknow... it kinda was."
Jesse says, "something sitll troubles me."
Kalani says, "..If only it had Stars."
Chad shakes his head, "Can we please just get off the subject? The thought of the place still weirds me out."
Dartagnan says, "Sure."
Jesse says, "Sorry Chad... I just need to know... did that "Lord of the Spectres" Have a name?"
Jesse says, "You dont have to tell me if you dont feel like it."
Kalani looks at Chad.
Dartagnan says, "The Lord of the Spectres? Some call him XANA... but his true name is impossible to pronounce on our own tongues.""
Jesse looks at Dartagnan, baffled. "Wierd name."
Jesse sighs and looks up at the sky.
Kalani blinks multiple times, her gaze still locked on Chad.
Chad lifts his head up and looks over at Kadic and the dorms before turning his gaze back to Kalani. As he notices where she is looking, he blushes and stares back up the sky blankly.
Jesse looks at Chad and Kalani and snickers a little.
Chad continues to look up at the clouds and silently starts saying something, "...I...I..."
Kalani smiles softly. "Chad..." she murmurs.
Dartagnan smiles. "I figure this time I'll keep my hands to myself... just this once."
Jesse scowls at Dartagnan. "Now she desicdes to keep her hands out of it..."

Kalani looks back at Chad and smiles. She leans over and plants her lips on his, then turns and starts the other direction.
Chad pulls a Jeremie and stands stiff in the middle of the courtyard.
Jesse smirks. "BIngo."
Dartagnan stares blankly.
Dartagnan says, "How sweet!"
Jesse says, "Now if I can jsut get that lucky with Crystal without interference!!!"
Jesse crosses his arms in disgust.
Kalani turns around and walks backwards, smiling.
Dartagnan smiles. "Until then, I'm your Cupid, pal."
Jesse sighs. "I guess so."
Jesse says, "If ya need help with Odd, jus ask."
Jesse smirks.
Kalani stops walking and stares, then charges back and engulfs Cahd in a huge hug.
Chad continues to stand stiff, but slightly shaking at this point.
Jesse cheers, "Yeah Chad!"
Kalani smiles happily and doesn't seem to notice the shaking.
Chad without moving, he stares down at Kalani and surprises her by hugging back.
Jesse says, "Thats better."
Kalani blinks and looks up at Chad, still smiling. She remains silent, secretly at a loss for words.
Jesse quietly says to himself, "Those two are going places."
Jesse yawns. "Well... im tired guys. Ill see you tomorrow."
Dartagnan yawns, curling up and falling asleep, not having the same horrible nightmare again.
Jesse smiles. "Night everyone."
Jesse heads toward his dorm room.
Chad blushes slightly as he realises what had happened, and the 2 quickly separate.
Jesse heads for Northern Courtyard.
Jesse has left.
Chad scratches the back of his head in nervousness, "I...I..."
Chad still blushing he checks his watch, "Its getting late, gotta run!"
Chad runs off to the dorms.
