I get an error when booting up my fedora core 4.
It is occuring because i upgraded my motherboard.
I only got 1 harddisk in this system on sata port 1.
There is also a cd drive and floppy connected.

The error:

Old mobo: a8v deluxe
New mobo: a8n-vm-csm

The pc still works on its old mobo (i put the HD in another pc with that mobo)

It does also NOT work on my own pc: a8n sli (it gives exacly the same error)

On irc people told me it was not properly recognising the sata harddisk (i tried connecting the harddisk to all 4 sata connections..but none worked) The old mobo only had 2 sata connections, this mobo (and my a8n sli) has 4.
On irc i was told i should update my kernel to the latest version to make it recognise sata.
So I put the HD in the other pc with the a8v deluxe, and did yum update & yum update kernel. It was succesfull.
But it is still giving the error.

I hope someone is able to help me.
Thanks for your time
