The Long Road v0.21 Changelog


Major Changes

+The game's rendering engine has been improved and graphics should appear sharper, especially when 
playing maximized.

+Timing gauges have been added to the main character's attack, swipe, and offensive skills. The "Yarn Tutorial" has been updated to reflect this change.

+Combo attacks have been added to Hunter's basic attack and offensive skills.

+The cooldown for every ability has been removed.

+New hotkeys have been added, you may now: 
	+Press B to access your bag.
	+Press T to use the talk command.
	+Press Q to quit the game.
	+Press O to open the options menu.

+The growth menu has been moved from the main menu to Sam the Save Snail as an additional choice option.

+An indicator has been added to show you when you have gained Adventuring Experience.

+Many new objects can now be interacted with.

+Added and/or edited dialog and text to several objects, items and characters. In some cases, major events have had their dialog changed.

+The debug menu has been removed.


Minor Changes

+Many spelling and grammatical errors have been fixed. Please continue to report any you find.

+Many enemy encounters have been adjusted.

+A heart animation has been added to all abilities that generate heart.

+Hunter's starting Persistence has been increased by 2.

+The S.T.A.T.S window will now properly display Precision, Evasion, and Critical Hit Chance.

+The growth menu now displays your current adventuring experience with the selected character.

+The Whax and Whane fight has been changed slightly.

+Ramen's dialog during his encounter has been updated, with more variety added.

+Sharpen will now properly generate heart when used.

+Inspecting the couches in the Farm House without Cleo in your party will now display a different message.

+The Adventurer's Almanac has been revised to include all of the new gameplay changes.

+The shop interface has improved.

+The position of Hunter's sprite during battle has been changed.

+A new visual indicator has been added to selections. It should now be easier to determine which 
character is currently selected in combat.

+The alpha introduction information has been updated.

+Two additional worm enemies have been added to the Farm Yard during the day time.

+Cleo's Nuzzle ability now restores 30% of a target's health, up from 25%.

+The time taken to execute many abilities has been reduced, this should make battles flow smoother and faster.

+Pressing left and right to escape from Whane now causes the screen to shake more noticeably.

+Adjusted the volume of various music and sound effects.

+Fixed a bug that caused the screen to stack tinting shades after exiting a battle in the Pet Cemetery.

+Cleo will now have a talk icon displayed over her head while sleeping in the Farmhouse night scene.

+Crow Feathers will now properly revive all knocked out characters when used.

+Cleo's battle animations have been fixed and no longer skip frames.

+Hunter's chain will no longer move during certain battle animations.

+While under the effect of a status condition, Ramen's animation frames will no longer skip.

+The amount of turns needed to learn the swipe skill during the Squirrel fight has been reduced.

+While initially exploring the Farm House, you may now interact with the mouse by waiting only 1 time, down from 3.
