Dear Contributor,

I am writing to you about our Indiegogo project. You've probably noticed that we are nowhere near the amount of funding required to make the project work, and with the best will in the world I can't see that situation changing in the next 2 weeks. There's a variety of reasons contributing to this, mostly due to the behavior of previous companies who were similarly crowd funded but failed to deliver on time, if at all. It's left such a bad taste in the mouth that there is much suspicion and paranoia about anyone coming along with another project.

There's also the looming threat of dedicated mining companies and the huge amounts of capacity they will soon deploy on the network. Existing mining solutions are simply too inefficient to compete, and apart from our systems there is nothing likely to be available or even proposed that would be capable of providing an individual miner with a financially viable solution. We recognised this a long time ago and spoke openly about it in our project prospectus. Our hardware design and innovative Guaranteed Supply Program would have enabled individuals to compete with organised companies, no matter how much the network hash rate increased, but we could only do this with a crowd funded solution with no external investor to pay back.

There has been a concerted campaign to discredit us,and we are certain it's highly organised. That leaves the question of who is doing it; we know why they are doing it, it's to remove any possible, credible threat that might actually empower individual users.

You may not be aware, but at this time we have received no funds from Indiegogo in respect of contributions made. We only get them at the end of the campaign when we advise Indiegogo of our business bank details, and they transfer the funds. I want to reassure you that your funds are safe, we will not be passing any bank details to Indiegogo and will be advising them of our intentions. It may take several weeks for your contributions to be refunded, but you will get your money back, it will not be passed to us.

I can only apologise for what has happened here, and I am deeply sorry that we have failed you and raised your expectations, it's not for lack of trying I can assure you. I can only thank you for your faith in us and our mission, and wish you well for the future. If there are any question you have, please feel free to email me at any time.

Sincerely,

Olivia Walker
