Merchanting Rules:
1) You may not, under ANY circumstance, PRE-DUMP the current merch item. This is the most serious rule.
2) If you part/quit/leave during an item check, you will be perm-banned from the channel.
3) Leaving in the middle of a merch is against the rules. Speak to Father or Hotshot3242 first. That does, in fact, include going to holidays. If you do part during the middle of a merch, the odds that you get perm banned are very high.
4) If asked for a screeny of GE history or a GE screenshot by a senior member, you must provide.
5) You must have at least 50m invested in an item by the time an item check is announced.
7) If you have read and understand all the rules, please say "I understand" to the person who verifies you.
8) You may only buy the current merch item from GE! This means NO buying from other players via trade (It doesn't affect GE prices this way).
9) If you say the merch item anywhere else than on #GEM, you will be banned, there is no warning for that.
10) You MUST ALWAYS idle in #GEM while connected to IRC at ANY time.
Other rules:
1) To join, you must have at least 65m total. This includes 50m CASH with an additional 15m in miscellaneous items/cash.
2) Simply because something isn't stated in the rules doesn't mean it's allowed. Use common sense.
3) If someone tells you "you can wait til next item to start" don't believe him, and ask Father or Hotshot to see if you actually can.
4 ) This isn't burger's king, you can't have it YOUR way. If you are aware of the merch item and you are not merching it, you will be perm banned, no exceptions made.
Commands:
!merch - Shows you the current merch item.
!dump - Shows you if a dump is set. We never specify when we will dump, it's always random, so be sure to check often
