[00:24:05] <radfoj> If somebody using arch need sun-jdk 1.5 (which is in -arch), is it crucial to follow java-upgrade.xml, right? Decisoin to add version 1.5 to the system - its not possible (I mean withou breaking anything) with following only java.xml these days. Yes?
[00:24:21] <antarus> radfoj: yes you want to do the upgrade
[00:24:30] <nichoj> radfoj: no... need to update that doc to point to it, I guess
[00:24:40] <nichoj> or include information about keywords, rather
[00:36:56] <radfoj> nichoj: So I thing its clear for me enough. If I understand you last post to me - its planned to mention some additional infos into java.xml. Becouse people using stable arch will probably start to reading java.xml to understand how it is handled in gentoo. But e.g. many examples with version 1.5 is mentioned there. But there isnt any info about what is going in -arch java-packages, also if unmasking one java-related package should cause many problem. Also none link to upgrade guide should cause people failing into problems. Thanks once more and have a nice day ... and all other guys here too.
[00:37:27] <nichoj> radfoj: I'm aware of the problem... will address it sometime soon
