A 14 Year Old’s Take Creation
I was at soccer practice today, a quite boring one, I’d like to add, and I noticed the grass. It looked so green...that reminded me of Science class. Does that make me a loser? Probably. Anyway, I recalled that colors are nothing more than light reflecting off of different things. Then I got this feeling that I get at least weekly. I get amazed at how intricate and well thought out our world is.
There are billions of these planets. Each with their own special characteristics. Not only are those billions of planets remarkable, but also what is holding the planets. Nothing really! They are kind of just...floating! Trillions of tons, just floating. It’s remarkable.
To me, the size of our planet alone is inconceivable, but the truth is Earth is nothing more than a speck of dust floating in a salt grain-sized solar system in a teeny-tiny galaxy. So what does that make me? I’m nothing compared to all matter. But yet...look at me. I have arms and legs that I subconsciously move. I have two eyes that can detect a small, yet beyond sufficient amount of light, and a brain to interpret what my eyes see. Think of the intricateness of your eyes. They consist of several crucial components that I can’t begin to complain. In each of those components are even more components.
Your eyes are one of hundreds, if not thousands of crucial parts of your body. Think of your heart. It pumps blood through thousands of little tubes, everywhere in your body. In your blood are tiny cells that fight of sicknesses and keep you healthy. In your blood. If our skin gets punctured, it grows itself back. If we feel pain, our body tells us. We are certainly remarkable creatures.
But there are billions of remarkable things in this world. Water is in a never-ending cycle. Animals reproduce. Something as simple as “Grass grows” has loads remarkable steps that are overlooked daily by almost everyone.
Hopefully you get what I’m trying to say. There is unbelievable intricateness in everything, no matter if we’re talking about a drop of water or a galaxy. Now, I do most likely not know you, but I have a feeling that you couldn’t think up our universe. So what could? Now, from my understanding, some people believe nothing did. It just happened. I just don’t see how that’s possible...something as incredibly complex as a human body evolved with not intelligence.
In my opinion, any theory of the formation of our universe and the belief of a divine being work hand-in-hand. I’m sure you’ve heard this before, but what I’m trying to say is that a divine being could have created evolution, or any formation theory.
If you’re still reading, you either have a remarkable interest in what I’m saying, are very patient, or have no life. Thank you for reading this, though, I appreciate it and I hope I’ve intrigued you in one way or another.
